Usually I have a pretty good idea of what to write in an introduction, but I am such a newbie to magic and paganism, I have no idea what is relevant here. I'm 63 and have very recently realised I am actually a pagan despite having been one really all my life. I have always been a sceptic, a seeker after truth. My beliefs focus around dreams (all types, including visualisations) and prayer.
I am now being dropped in at the deep end so to speak, and need to read up on ceremonies to use in connection with leading pathworking. It was in trying to find an online copy, or at least a sample of the book 'Helios unbound' to see if it has what I need, that I found these fora. It seems I need to make a number of posts before I can see it though! So here I am posting as briefly as reasonably possible to avoid TLDR!

Welcome to the forum, Cassandra.
I'm new around here too.

The people here are nice and most importantly, there's plenty of interesting books.

Can you tell me more about your approach towards dreams and what you hope to find in Helios Unbound?
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to much of Hellenistic magic.

Hi Perditus, thanks for the welcome :) My approach towards dreams for myself has morphed everywhich way over the years. Although I would advocate keeping a diary of both daytime happenings and of dreams, I'm rubbish at it! I have a nice story about how I got a massively detailed 'precognitive' dream, but it's too long to type! To keep it short: I have experience of every form of dreaming apart from sleep walking, and night terrors, drug induced hallucinations. (Unless you count cannabis influenced dreams! That was interesting indeed, lol.)
In helos unbound I hope to find ceremonies that I can use with a group.
I only heard of Hellenistic magic in the last day or two, so you're ahead of me there!

Welcome---the library here has most everything you probably need. I love your avatar, BTW.
