Hello. I'm in the Chicago area. Actually found this site because I was downloading a copy of "The True Grimoire" so I could read it on my phone, at work, and saw the tag 'uploaded by wizardforums...' so I checked it out. Haven't really participated in a forum in a long time. Probably the old pagansunite was the last one, other than discord. Ha! My ass is getting old. Not really, at least not in my head. I'm 44, and I've been a practicing magus, shaman, sorcerer for most of 32 years. I'm actually trying to put together a irl magical working collective. Not an 'order' but a collective of practicing wizards (or whatever you want to call yourself) in the Chicago area. I'll travel, or host if someone chooses to come to the windy shit hole from elsewhere... Brainstorm, experiment, write new ritual, create new techniques and magick some shit the fuck up. But not just virtually... you can make a digital hypersigil with music or video or code, and it'll work... just not as fun as going to a crossroads at dawn or dusk and summoning your favorite trickster deity and having the motherfucker show up... completely different vibe. Also, the energy levels when working thaumaturgy together are fucking awesome. Anyone game? Hmu or I'll bring it up elsewhere because this probably isn't the best thread for it. OK...I rambled on long enough here, I'll go see what you're all talking about.

Hello, welcome. I live in Ann Arbor MI (where Im from), but lived in many places in Chicagoland on and off for about 5-6 years total. Great city.

Will do, Im in Ann Arbor, occasionally out of town in Jackson, although within the next year or two Im moving westward, making stops for a year in the end of the state, like Grand Rapids, then on to Milwaukee. Might be double that time, since Im broke as a joke usually.

EDIT: My bad, I didn't see at first it wasn't toward me. However, I always like to meet fellow Pagans and Magicians and Witches. Like I said, Im on a westward move, then possibly UK by that time, or the Yukon. So likely I will hit GR and Chi town.
