Hi, I'm Alice, 24. I live in Italy. I've been drawn to witchcraft since childhood, inspired by my intuitive grandmother, books, and nature.
In 2020, I rediscovered this path while exploring Wicca, meditation, and herbalism, but I still feel like a beginner. My Gemini rising makes me curious but inconsistent! I’ve felt the call again lately and want to embrace it with more focus.
I joined this forum to share, learn, and stay motivated. Looking forward to exchanging ideas and experiences with like-minded people 🌝

Hello Alice, My given name is Daniel. Welcome to the community. It's nice to meet you.

but I still feel like a beginner. My Gemini rising makes me curious but inconsistent! I’ve felt the call again lately and want to embrace it with more focus.

My advice: Wonder is like a crucible. Use it. It's very powerful. Even in a mundane context, feeling like a beginner is, literally, a wonderful thing. Believe it or not, it's something many are chasing. It's like a fountain of youth.

Also, for almost any beginner: Be encouraged. There's a true axiom in the English language: "Practice makes perfect." ... makes ... That means "practice" is not "perfect", and it never will be. Practice is an on-going process. This on-going process is making perfection. Practice isn't perfect; Practice makes perfect. Because of this, it's good to forgive oneself for any mistakes that naturally happen along the way towards learning about one's talents and affinities. It's good to give oneself permission, at the onset, to make mistakes while practicing their craft.

Best wishes to you,

Welcome from a fellow Gemini rising practitioner. Discipline in your practice can be learned but insatiable curiosity that will serve you well.

Thank you! I appreciate your advice. I think my Gemini rising is both my blessing and my worst enemy... Integration is difficult

Hi Daniel, nice to meet you :) thank you for your wise words. Feeling like a beginner can come from insecurities or perfectionism and so I see it as a flaw. But of course, in every negative thing there's something positive. I appreciate your encouragement and how you've helped me see this from a different perspective. 🙏
