Related to my other post, I know have a grand list of names and books to research how Ancient Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians would have done astrology.
I have never practiced or been interested in astrology previously, but a spark has appeared and I desire some kindling to grow it further.
I know I need something by Ptolemy of Alexandria and the "Phaenomena" by Aratus
Does anyone have any recommendations on translations or related readings? I'm very interested in learning specifically how to do astrology assuming a geocentric earth and then I want to compare that to modern, post Copernicus, astrology just because it sounds fun.
