There is a story I learned as a kid in school. The sun and the wind were arguing who has more power. So they agreed that the one who would win the argument would be the one to make a man walking on the ground to take off his coat. The wind blew the man about, trying to rip the coat off, but he held it even closer. The sun just came out from behind the clouds and warmed up the day. The coat came off.
In economics, if you want to make money, you need to invest some. Otherwise, trying to steal just causes problems. We are meant to have a give and take relationship with the world. Bypassing defenses means causing damage because you are subverting the will of another, and that is a violation. Why be a rapist when you can be a friend and lover, in other words?
If you ask how, it is spreading well-being and confidence as an example, and when people open up, you can skim off the top. I believe many loved, and charismatic individuals do just that. What many energy "exchangers" do, however, is dumping their inner self-hatred on others while draining them. It is important to know thyself and without judgment strive toward the golden rules. Unfortunately, if given half a chance, there are many who would plunder whatever they can for as much as they can get away with.
It would be foolish to empower someone to do things that can not only harm others, but themselves, unless the one advising would relish in the unhealthy condition.
