Everyone's got one.

How do we know if we're dreaming, that is our subconscious sending us a message? And how can we tell the difference between that and actually being on the astral plane?

For example, are we always on the astral plane when we're dreaming? Because I read that dreams have many purposes.

For example, last night I had a dream that I was in a typical mall in southeast Asia. There was nothing particularly frightening or happy about it but it was just a fact. We were all getting ready to participate in this grant divination ritual ceremony.

I am new at this so I have a lot of questions. Thank you in advance for your help.

Usually, all dreams take place in the Astral Plane. Only diference is that on dreams you are sleeping, and on meditation you are still awake.

While you are asleep, is much easier to travel, but also much harder to remember, while meditating is much harder to travel, but easier to remember. At least, that's how I view it.

Of course, there MANY layers, but is safe to say that anything that originates from your imagination comes in some degree from the Astral Plane.

Pay attention to the feelings in the heart when the dream is recalled. Dreams are always a blend of significant events and images mixed with other completely insignificant details. When significant aspects of the dream are recalled, it will feel different than the insignificant details.

Also, the "message" in a significant dream usually comes at the end. The dreamer, describing the dream, will say something like: " ... that's it, that's all I remember." Or. There will be a harsh transition to another dream, or, they suddenly wake up. The harsh transition is like the punctuation at the end of a sentence, or, the over-and-out signal when using something like Morse code. It's the signal the subconscious is using to express : " end-of-transmission ". If that makes sense. The most important "crux" of the dream occurs at the end right before it fades rapidly to nothingness.

One way of imagining it is, the subconscious is communicating using something akin to smoke signals, but, with much more detail.

What is it you are expecting in regard to "astral"?

What is "actual" about it?

I'm not trying to be difficult. But it's important to clarify before answering further.
