I’m looking to try dream divination are there any books or methods you’d recommend?

Artemidorus Oneirocritica is the manual Freud and Jung worked out of.

I like The Interpretation of Dreams by Ibn Sirin.

Basically write the dream down, collect the relevant symbols, interpret each symbol individually, then weave them together.

You have to find what works for you, as people are different. I'd suggest experimenting first with something simpler (say, feeling happy) and utilizing visualization (end results) and verbal formulations (make sure the words you use are meaningful and clear to you) and finding what your subconscious responds to.
