[Help] i think someone cast a love spell/ritual on me

as the title says, i think an old classmate of mine is trying to attract me. i thought at first that it could be via law of attraction, only because i'm very familiar with manifesting myself, but i'm now starting to think it's a spell/ritual.

for context, this was a highschool classmate that i knew from 12-16 y.o, i'm 20 now and haven't even seen him since. we only spoke once or twice. i know it's not a crush on my end because i'm fully aroace and have only felt attraction towards women. i really don't want this and i think it's part of the reason it took me so long to realise i'm aro…

he was the only person in highschool that i had a "crush" on, i could literally never stop thinking about him back then. when i graduated, my head felt really clear for once, but after a while, he was back in my mind again, then out. this has never happened to me with anyone else and i barely know him

i recently started having dreams about this man, even though i don't even have dreams about my closest friends and family, and that's why i decided to finally say something and ask for help.

i'm not a spiritual or religious person, like at all, or even superstitious. but i cannot think of what else is happening rn and i really need something done about this

please forgive (and correct) me if i get things wrong about spells/witchcraft. i'm wondering if there's any way i can firstly check if i actually have a spell on me?? but if not, it would be lovely to get pointers on how to get rid of it safely. i'm not a practicing witch and don't know any irl so i don't know how to help myself or what to do at all

First, let's make sure it is a spell on you. Sit calmly and quietly for 5-10 minutes and see what comes up. Do you 'see' an energetic cord or tug to this person?
Next, let's try magic. Now, in your calm state, try a pendulum or your divination method of choice. Ask directly, yes or no. See what happens.
Last, do the revocation spell anyway. Why not? It won't hurt.

• Scissors or a knife (for cutting)
• String or thread (any kind, even dental floss)
• Salt (table salt is fine)
• A bowl or sink

1. Find a quiet spot. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself. State your intent out loud or in your head: "I'm severing any unwanted connection to [his name] and reclaiming my energy." Keep it simple—one goal only.
2. Tie a knot in the string to represent the "link." Hold one end (that's you) and the other (him). Visualize or think about the thoughts/dreams flowing through it.
3. Sprinkle salt over the string (salt grounds and cuts energy). Say: "This connection is dissolved and ended."
4. Cut the string in the middle with scissors. Let the pieces drop into the bowl or sink.
5. Wash the pieces down the drain or bury/burn them safely. End with: "It's done. My space is mine."

Do this once, then ground yourself (eat something salty, walk outside barefoot if you can). If dreams persist, repeat in a week— but don't obsess.

Are you sure you arent just homosexual and trying to rationalize it? I mean, im not trying to make assumptions but "love spells" dont really work like that. Correct me if im wrong, obviously. But it sounds like you might just be homosexual or at least bisexual. No judgement! Just speculation.

I’m going to gently correct the first part of this to: No one wants a love spell that forces them against their will—period—regardless of whether or not they’re “ugly.”

It’s immoral if it’s immoral…and doesn’t become more acceptable because their appearance differs.

If you're not a practitioner, giving you techniques at this point is not very likely to be successful. You need divination, commonly called "a reading", to determine whether there is a love spell present or not. And if there is, you need a spell to break it, and a ward or two to prevent it from happening again. You will probably have to hire someone for this.

Also, whether there is a love spell being done on you or not, the whole situation suggests to me that you may be less inherently aroace than you believe. Shamanic healing could be extremely helpful in that regard. Just a suggestion.
