So, I met this girl at Barnes and Noble. Things were great, but I think I said too much. I guess I got over excited, considering that meeting girls is something of a rarity for me. I was pretty mad at my self when I left. We did exchange numbers, but I deleted hers because, again, I thought I over shared. It was clear I wasn't ready at the time, and thought cutting contact was best.
She did eventually text me, and we spent the weekend talking and sharing memes. Then she asked me to meet her where she worked after school. It was a local strip club. I saw the writing on the wall, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. So, I went there today. Her first words weren't "Hi how are you?". They were "Are you gonna get a dance today?"
I told her no, and reminded her that she wanted to be friends, so I was there as a friend. I asked her if she wanted me as a friend of a customer. She replied by saying "Both" with a question like tone. That told me that, yes, she lured me there to make money off me. She just wanted to maintain the image that we were "Friends" so I wouldn't question it. I then left, knowing that I saw this coming.
I felt empowered when I left, but now I just feel disappointed and vulnerable. I'm not good at making friends, especially after the move. Again, I was originally against talking to her, but I gave her a chance. And this is what happens. I feel both isolated and resentful. It's like I encountered an emotional vampire.
I wanted to ask, if anyone has worked with goddesses like Aphrodite, Freya, or Oshun, have you brought situations like this to them? What did they say? Demons and angels included.
