I didn’t find much information about this topic (only references in medieval myths), and I want to discuss it as a reality.

First of all, let me give you some context. I was young and practicing one of the major monotheistic religions. I had a strong, blind faith (as is often expected in these religions), but no one seemed to protect, assist, or guide me spiritually — no saints, no angels, nobody.

One night, I opened my eyes and couldn’t move. I thought it was just a normal episode of sleep paralysis (I’d only experienced it a couple of times in my life). But that night, I saw a dark, black humanoid figure behind me, in bed with me; it had its fangs in my back and was draining my energy. I wanted to move, but this entity was physically stronger than me. I couldn’t scream. I tried so hard, and finally a scream emerged — and then I could move again. From my experience, the sexual aspect of incubi is false, but not their energetic vampirism.

This experience is important not only to reveal that these kinds of entities are absolutely real, but also to warn others: being spiritually unprotected and believing that some god or angel will help you simply for being “good” is imprudent. Allowing others to instill feelings of guilt for your sins, or whatever else, weakens you against these entities and leaves you spiritually ill.

You are the only one responsible for the things that happen around you. Don’t be weak.

This is, of course, only my experience and viewpoint years later.

Interesting.
Never had such an experience, in a sexual or purely energy aspect either. Did you find a solution for protection? What do you do personally?
How much time did it take for you to replenish your energy and what did you do in order to replenish energy faster (if any)?
Actually some people I know could/may be incubus-adjacent (very sexual in nature)... But I never thought of them that way before though haha

I've met some energy suckers, both incarnated as well as not. When it comes to those affecting you while you sleep, if it comes with nightmare, I call them fear-eaters, because they feed on these negative emotions.

In my opinion Incubus (male) and Succubus (female) are connected with "wet" dreams rather than parasitism. If I'm not mistaken, they were described by monks and nuns who were very celibate, but the body has needs so they were expressed through dreams, where it also could attract entities that were interested in this kind of energy. These dreams were scary for these people that tried to suppress those needs. (and desires too)

Of course, first of all, they cannot parasitize every kind of spiritual energy—only low-vibrational energy. This is why they look for weak victims, as predators do. Therefore, you need to raise your energy levels. That’s also why some people with low energy can fall victim to other types of attacks, such as “possessions.”

One of the simplest and most effective ways I’ve found to increase energy levels is the “Triad of the Morning Star” explained by Michael W. Ford (liberation, illumination, and apotheosis). It is, of course, one of the easiest and most effective methods, but not the only one. You can expel these entities with your own energy, without needing help from others.

I’ve always thought this and continue to maintain it: that monks and nuns who have these kinds of wet dreams or experiences of being “attacked” in sexual ways are creating them through their own emotions. Being restrictive with the sexual nature of human beings can generate unbalanced energy. The need for sexual expression is real for all living species. That’s why sexuality has always been seen as sacred in the past. Of course, I must also mention the biological needs of males—ejaculation and the renewal of sperm—which are a frequent cause of wet dreams.
