Interesting psychology case

While in therapy I remembered an interesting thing my grandma told me about. She said back when she was in nursing school she did her psych rotation in a prison. This was decades ago. And the person they assigned to her to work with for a few weeks to interview had extreme religious trauma. She had killed her husband, i have no idea why, could be justified could not be idk. What I know however is she only talked in Bible verses. She didn't just say them willy nilly but she was actively using them to communicate. My grandma would have to record it and play it back a few times on occasion to try to figure out what the person was trying to tell her. She apparently was long winded and would talk a lot too. My grandma said the lady had been a devout catholic before she had killed her husband. She wondered if it was her way of atoning for it but honestly didn't know it's kinda hard to figure out why someone would talk solely in Bible verses when it's only Bible verses they talk in.

I figured I would share because a lot of occult folk like psychology stuff. I thought some yall might find this story interesting. Feel free to put any interesting psychology cases you've heard of here if you want. I like abnormal psychology and reading about it. I just wanted to share this since it was on my mind.

If you like psychology, read K-pax and following books, they are novels happening in the mad houses, but no real terror happening there, rather exploring lives of people who do not think normal. This first book was good, the main character is psychiatrist, who has some interesting observations about patients as well as his colleagues.

There is also a movie of the same name, but the book was more interesting.

I checked with my grandma just now to make sure I had my facts right. It wasn't a prison but a psych facility in NC. Everything else I wrote was correct
