Introduction and Cosmology

Thank you all for hosting this website and providing the plethora of resources. I would like to give back as much as I receive, but I do not know if that is possible.

I have operationally been working occult, philosophy, the esoteric, etc... for a number of years. I have pulled numerous resources from various world-views over that time. One of the difficulties I have come across is how to merge, blend, work-with different cultural, historic and cosmologically conflictory elements and not blow myself up or cause unnecessary damage. So, I began to develop my own cosmology from what I determined was first principles and agnostic to culture. The goal was to allow me to logically fit seemingly conflicting ideas in the same space and align my work with those ideas toward incremental and singular goals while having some determining element to tell me "where I am" and "what's going on". Think of it as a rope taking you back to the opening of the cave when you are cave diving.

I provide that introduction to myself and below cosmology just as a reference to any of my future or past posts. I can expand on this further for those that are interested, but I do not want to burden everyone with a thesis paper.

This cosmology does two things:

• Uses three axes to describe any state of reality.
• Adds a transformative current to describe how states change.

Think of a 3D space for states, and a “wind” that moves points around inside it.

1. The Three Axes​

Any state can be written as:

(Y,X,Z)(Y, X, Z)(Y,X,Z)

Each coordinate ranges from –1 (maximal lack) to +1 (maximal realization).

Y – Being: Unity ↔ Void​

• Y +1: strong, unified, “full” reality.
• Y –1: privation of being; tending toward nothingness.

Void here is absence of being, not a second substance.

X – World‑Structure: Order ↔ Disorder​

• X +1: coherent cosmos – patterns and structures fit together.
• X –1: fragmentation, chaos, broken or inverted forms.

Disorder = damaged order, not an equal opposite.

Z – Relation: Participation ↔ Exile​

• Z +1: deep connection to the source of being and order; sharing in it.
• Z –1: separation or refusal of that connection.

Z is “plugged in” vs. “cut off.”

2. The 3D Field​

All three axes together:

Every possible configuration of reality is some point in this field.


Example corners:

• (+1, +1, +1) – full being, order, and participation.
• (+1, +1, –1) – grounded and ordered, but estranged.
• (+1, –1, Z variable) – being upheld, structures fallen.
• (–1, –1, –1) – limit case of nihilistic collapse.

It would be easier if I could post images to this fourm, but ascii will suffice. You can imagine the 3D sphere as a planet with the axis running through it, and you can plot points via longitude, latitude, and depth.

3. The Transformative Current (T)​

Now we add change.

T is the transformative current: the “fire” that moves states in this space.

• (Y, X, Z) describes where a state is.
• T describes how Y, X, and Z are rising or falling.

You can think of T as the vector.

Two directions​

• Constructive transformation
  – pushes toward higher Y, X, and/or Z
  → more being, more order, more participation.
• Destructive transformation
  – pushes toward lower Y, X, and/or Z
  → more privation, more disorder, more exile.

Transformation itself is neutral; its value depends on the direction it pushes a state in this 3D field.

4. Processes as Paths​

A process (a life, a culture, a world‑age) is a path:

• Some paths climb toward unity, order, and connection.
• Others slide toward void, breakdown, and separation.

This cosmology doesn’t dictate which happens; it gives a coordinate system for describing where things are and how they move.
