Mirror magic is an old and long-forgotten tradition of magic and a possibility to have certain experiences and communications with a non-everyday reality. Everyone has to find out for themselves whether this tradition is the right one for them. My introduction to mirror magic is based on the school of P.B. Randolph - and my own experience. There are a variety of magically usable mirrors - also concave or convex mirrors, mostly made of silver or chrome. I myself use mirrors made of black optician glass, but they are very expensive because they have to be specially made. A good idea is to get a mirror from an antique shop. Of course, it should first be discharged with sunlight, heat and cold and under running water so that one does not unintentionally expose oneself to foreign energies.
It is best to choose a day when the moon is descending for discharge. The first step is a thorough cleaning with soapy water. If possible, separate the mirror from the frame. It is ideal to hold the mirror in clear, flowing water afterwards. Let it dry in the sun, mirror side up. That should usually be enough. In 'hard' cases, incense can also help and certain overtones, such as singing bowls, yedaki, your voice etc. can 'say goodbye' to foreign influences. Pay particular attention to the frame, sometimes there is a lot in there!
What is special about mirror magic is its force and energy, which mostly results from the fact that very few magicians are still familiar with this topic. Unfortunately, this sometimes makes mirror magic dangerous, so it should be emphasized that one must not reflect oneself in the mirror, otherwise the danger of self-induction of certain disorders of consciousness can arise. Also for this reason I advise against the use of drugs in this context, whether alcohol, THC or psilocybin: the consciousness must be complete and stable during the magical operation!
It is actually good to make your own magic mirror. Curved mirrors and hemispheres made of reflective material are also suitable.
Candlelight and open fire are beneficial to the magic mirror, as is moonlight. You have to try out whether you can work with a black mirror.
BASICS AND RULES:

6. Dreams can be induced with the magic mirror. One gently (and without the slightest distraction of the mind) concentrates on the center of the mirror and sleeps. The dreams arising from sleep will contain visions.
7. It is important that the active surface of the magic mirror never be touched by the sun's rays. This would destroy his magical abilities. The mirror should therefore always remain covered with a heavy black cloth.
If you use it, then always with its back to the window.
8. The magic mirror must be clear to be 'read' like a book.
9. If several people want to look in the mirror at the same time, then hang it on the wall. Nobody else should touch the mirror!

12. Experience shows that people with darker skin, dark hair or dark eyes have a greater affinity for mirror magic. They can also usually charge faster, but not as powerfully as those with lighter skin. Oftentimes, men cannot access mirror magic as easily as women. Women can usually distinguish better and are not so easily impressed by possible negative influences from the mirror.
13. People before puberty often have a very natural and easy access to mirror magic.
14. White clouds seen in a magic mirror are traditionally taken as a positive sign.
15. Black clouds correspond to a warning. Their language is negation.
16. Purple, green and blue clouds are good omens.
17. Crimson, light orange, and yellow clouds signify a bad influence.
18. If one wants to influence a person who is not present with the magic mirror, one should evoke their image with one's magical power and firm will. When the image appears in front of you in the mirror, fixate it firmly and focus your imagination on it. Your influence will inevitably make itself felt. But remember that you must bear the consequences of your actions. Good begets good and evil is met with evil.
19. Be patient when consulting your magic mirror. Some people see faster. Some take longer.
20. The surface of a magic mirror must not be exposed to negative chemical or optical influences and not to the sun. These mirrors behave in a similarly sensitive manner as a photographic plate. But moonlight intensifies the effect of the mirror. Extremely cold or extremely warm temperatures nullify the power of the mirror.
21. All visions that appear in the mirror to your left are the concrete and pure truth.
22. Any visions that appear in the mirror to your right are symbolic and must be interpreted, like a dream interpretation.
23. The clouds or shadows moving upward signify an affirmative answer to a question.
24. The clouds or shadows moving downward mean a negative of a question.
25. The shadows moving sideways indicate the presence of a person with magical or occult abilities.
26. The clouds moving sideways show that a person with magical or occult abilities wants to get in touch with you.
27. Stimulant drugs should be avoided in mirror magic, this could have dangerous consequences.
