Hello! my name is Ray (short for Rachel) and I have been practicing witchcraft and most things metaphysical for a number of years. My go-to divination tools are tarot cards, astrology, and osteomancy. I joined this community in hopes of building my own community of trusted people as I am sort of limited where I am. I currently reside in Indiana (bible central) and it's a little difficult finding folks within my community who either don't judge or know the craft well enough to teach and spread knowledge to others. My hobbies include music, nature walks when it's nice outside, concerts, hanging with friends, going to my favorite food places, watching television/moves and practicing my divinations to help make my gifts stronger. I stumbled upon WF in 2019 and she inspired me to get into witchcraft. What little I do know (I realized there is a LOT to know about witchcraft, the practice etc) has resonated with me more than religion ever did. I grew up in a family who went to church every Saturday (I grew up 7th day adventist) and as I got older, I slowly stopped going all together because religion never set right with me but never knew why. After knowing what I know now about the Bible and magic, I feel more informed and am able to practice what feels more aligned with my soul. I look forward to learning from this community and finding new friends as well as advice on any spells I may want to cast in the future! I am so excited to be here <3

I'm currently learning about chaos as well, however I've learned that my practice already leans that way. I use ingredients that feels right for the certain spell and don't necessarily follow a set recipe. What I've done, and continue to do, is learn an already established spell recipe and then tweak it in a way that just feels right. For example, I did a spell last year during a fire season (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and I incorporated fire with my spell even though I was trying to bring something in instead of releasing it. It brought results within the time frame I had asked. My advice: if it feels right, it probably is. But if there is an ingredient you want to use in a spell that you're unsure of, I would recommend doing research on the ingredient just in case it's going to do the opposite of what your intentions are. That's just my personal advice though and what I personally do. I know everyone has their own practice/belief system and all are valid!

Currently studying the Liber null I am facing one current problem it is that there are lot of talks about sex I don't feel like reading it more because of this can u give me advice . I strongly believe in denying physical pleasures only if these desires are thrown than only can we move forword.

Hello, Ray. I have heard in my discussions with others that in the search of truth, many of us turn first to religion. Perhaps this serves no other purpose than to exhaust it as an option, but I do find it is a necessary step on the path. It is good to have you here.
