Is there a traditional connection between elemental evocation and the phases of the Moon?

I would like to ask a question to those who study grimoire magic, Solomonic material, and traditional spirit work more deeply:

Is there any real traditional connection between the evocation of elementals and the phases of the Moon?

I am not asking from a modern “correspondence chart” perspective, but from the standpoint of historical sources. I would like to know whether there are texts that explicitly relate elemental evocation to lunar phases such as the waxing Moon, full Moon, waning Moon, etc.

More specifically, I would like to understand:

  • Whether the phases of the Moon were ever used as a criterion for calling or working with elemental spirits
  • Whether this appears anywhere in the Solomonic tradition
  • Whether the Moon’s role in these operations is more general and electional, rather than specifically “elemental”
  • Which primary or scholarly sources would be best to study on this subject

I know that in many traditional systems the Moon is important for timing operations in general, but I am not sure whether there is a well-defined traditional doctrine connecting elementals to particular lunar phases, or whether that is mostly a later interpretation.

So my question is:

Are there traditional sources that connect elemental evocation to lunar phases? And if so, which texts would you recommend for studying this seriously?

Thanks in advance.
