At page 74, he explains 4 modalities for using elements (and all possibles energies)

Even if it was obvious to me. He must be the first author that explain it that well.

The elements can be :

Channelled : Pore breathe and direct it through you to your target through the use of sigil, symbols and portals.

Called : this is more a invocation/evocation modality when you search for to communicate with a spirit relative to that element.

Focused : close to channelling. You condense the elemental power that is in the environnement around you.

Embodied : this is more drama-like. When you actually play the element.

I was impressed with the explanation of how the Alchemical Symbols (the triangular symbols) are derived from the composite Fire and Water triangles that make up the Hexagram. Meaning that Air and Earth are derived from Fire and Water, and clearly depicting how the Crossbars are
derived from the composite Hexagram. Not the first time I've encountered it, but the clearest and cleanest description I think. I haven't finished it completely yet, but was focused on the Semiotic Symbology. Great Book, would not hesitate to recommend it, Ivo Knows his stuff!

Yep, that's why I referred to this book as Comprehensive. Pore breathing the elements for example is a technique utilized by authors such as Franz Bardon -> Jason Miller -> others, clearly and practically explained. There's a real wide gamut of practical applications here, as well as some details totally absent from other authors, like the description of how the Alchemical symbology was/is derived. If you could be exposed
to elemental theory and practice from only One source this would be hard to beat! ;)
