I come from a very devout and conservative Catholic family that considered anything connected to the occult as evil, coming from the devil, and to be avoided at all costs. They taught me that everything connected to God is good and that anything else is automatically evil.
Despite my strong Catholic background, I have never been able to believe in such a black-and-white binary perspective, and I have always been fascinated by occultism and ancient creatures like angels and demons.
After years and years of trying to get in touch with God or saints through prayers or other actions and asking for help without ever receiving any response or help in any way, not even through other people or any sign, I got tired of this situation. From God I have received only emptiness, darkness, and indifference, things far away from the love and light that many other Catholics receive from Him.
For this and other reasons, I am interested in occultism and demonolatry. Since a few years ago, I started to be more curious about occultism and had the desire to get in contact with demons or other spirits (I am very curious about their history, knowledge, and viewpoints). I hope that this forum will allow me to communicate with demons and finally get the answers and help I need.
I saw that there are many books and grimoires about demonolatry, and it will take me a while to read them all (or at least the most important ones) before starting with the practice.
I am open to any suggestion, especially from those who are able to communicate or work regularly with demons or from those who have had a background similar to mine and have managed to communicate with other spirits.
Just a brief additional note, I am not seeking for or want a "replacement" God (so another being to venerate or serve; one God is more than enough for me), but rather beings with whom to have a friendship/partnership relationship. I hope to find at least a valid one.
