I have not been on the forum for a while, but some strange events have brought me back to ask some insight. I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll just put it here.

A large fist sized and egg shaped stone has appeared next to my back door, and I can't readily explain its origin. It has an oval shaped opening on one side revealing the whole inside to be covered in pale purple or lavender colored crystal.

Just outside my back door is a small rack and I found it there. The rack and the stone is right next to the door handle/lock so it is unmissable, but when I tried to move it I could see a ring in the dust under it, meaning it has been there for some time.

What makes this strange is:

* I have no interest in crystals, I don't keep them or use them, nor do I know anyone that does.

* I don't get any visitors who could have placed it there, even my family is estranged. I am basically a hermit, and for many years now.

* There is no access to my property. In my country crime is a problem and I have high razor wire fences and dogs, so if it was placed there deliberately someone would have to try and climb over the razor wire, then over a wooden fence, and make friendly with the dogs somehow.

* I tried to move it, but I feel overcome with a mental fog or confusion when I touch it. It also feels extremely heavy and I am only able to shift it slightly. It is so weird. I now know it's there but I still feel surprised every time I see it, like it's the first time and I have somehow forgotten about it since the day before.

Most likely, it was thrown from a distance away and happened to land on the narrow rack, and now my mind is just conjuring strangeness about it for some reason.

What are crystals like this with a pale violet color used for? Is someone trying to curse or protect me? Why do I feel strange touching it? Can malevolent or benevolent entities conjure physical objects like this?

Thanks

I've only recently begun to use crystals so I'm not an expert. It might be helpful if you took a picture of it and posted it here. It's purple or lavender, it might be tourmaline or amethyst.

From my Basic understanding of crystals, they are mostly good so I think it's some sort of protection. But I'm not entirely sure so it'll be great if someone with more experience with crystals would chime in.

Yours is one of the rare cases where a rational, strictly materialistic explanation would sound even more farfetched than an occult one...

I just posted this book on crystals in the Library, no idea if it's any good - crystals are probably one of these areas where serious occultism and NewAge fluff to a large extent overlap. My suggestion would be to conduct a Google image search using 'purple crystal', for example, and try to identify the mineral that mysterious object by its colour; once successfully identified, you could then look for more information as to its meaning in the book I posted or on the internet.

The object's shape may yield some clues, too. Does it look cut from a larger crystal, has it been polished in any way?

Warned: Marketplace violation. Do not link sites that have a webstore.
This tends to happen with crystals. Mine always vanish, then turn up, or they don't. Perhaps you received one of them. They are, after all, lifeforms, like trees, but rocks, allegedly, can store information and communicate with other parts of the same crystal.
so amethyst comes to mind.
unless I see a picture it is impossible to tell. amethyst theoretically makes sense.

FROM CRYSTAL VAULTS:

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions. It is a semi-precious stone in today’s classifications, but to the ancients, it was a “Gem of Fire"; a Precious Stone worth, at times in history, as much as a Diamond. Amethyst has always been associated with February, the month the Romans dedicated to Neptune, their water god. Therefore, it

"In the spiritual world, an Amethyst crystal provides a connection to the Divine."

Some historical Amethyst healing reports include its ability to control evil thoughts, increase intelligence, and render men shrewd in business matters. For travelers, it was worn as protection from treachery and surprise attacks. It also kept soldiers from harm and gave them victory over their enemies. It lent assistance to hunters in the capture of wild beasts and fowl. On the other side, it was considered to be a powerful psychic stone of protection against witchcraft and black magic. Like other royal stones, it protected its wearer from disease and infection.
In the spiritual world, an Amethyst crystal provided a connection to the Divine. To the Hebrews, it was Ahlamah, the ninth stone in the breastplate of the High Priest; engraved with the tribe of Dan, as well as the twelfth foundation stone for the New Jerusalem. To the Egyptians, it was Hemag, listed in the Book of the Dead to be carved into heart-shaped amulets for burial.
In Eastern cultures, it was listed in descriptions of sacred "gem-cities", "trees of life", and used in temple offerings for worship. It was also often used to align planetary and astrological influences. Additionally, Amethyst was popular in rosaries and prayer beads. It was credited with creating an atmosphere of pious calm, imbuing a sense of mental peace, and quietude.

"Amethyst's inherent high frequency purifies the aura of any negative energy or attachments and creates a protective shield of Light around the body."

In today’s world, Amethyst healing properties and meanings are similar to their historic roots. It is still a remarkable stone of spirituality and contentment; known for its metaphysical abilities to still the mind and inspire an enhanced meditative state. Its inherent high frequency purifies the aura of any negative energy or attachments. It creates a protective shield of Light around the body, allowing one to remain clear and centered while opening to spiritual direction.
Amethyst stimulates the Third Eye, Crown, and Etheric Chakras enhancing cognitive perception as well as accelerating the development of intuitive and psychic ability. It initiates wisdom and greater understanding and is a stone of comfort for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
Amethyst’s ability to expand the higher mind also enhances one’s creativity and passion. It strengthens the imagination and intuition and refines the thinking processes. It helps in the assimilation of new ideas, putting thought into action, and brings projects to fruition.
Amethyst is also well-known as a talisman of focus and success.

Amethyst is an exceptional crystal for wearing on the body, for use in healing rituals, and for enhancing one’s environment. It has been known to fade in direct sunlight and care should be taken. It is also good to clear its energies from time to time by holding the stone under running water for a short period while affirming that the stone is cleared. Keep unpolished Amethyst near other crystals to recharge them.

be no surprise that it is the traditional birthstone of that month. It is the stone of St. Valentine and faithful love and signifies ecclesiastical dignity as the Bishop’s Stone. It carries the energy of fire and passion, creativity and spirituality; yet bears the logic of temperance and sobriety. Whether its crystals are left natural, polished as tumbled stones, or faceted into magnificent jewels,

Amethyst is a gem whose beauty transcends its commonality. It is a variety of Quartz found in many locations around the world. It forms as transparent, terminated crystals of all sizes in geodes, clusters, and as long single terminations. Amethyst is also found in vitreous masses and polished into wonderful specimens and personal talismans. The presence of manganese in clear Quartz produces Amethyst, while additional amounts of iron vary the purple coloration. It ranges in hue from pale red-violet to deep violet and may be transparent or opaque. In addition, it is sometimes layered with white Quartz as Chevron Amethyst, found in combination with Cacoxenite, mixed with Citrine as Ametrine, or in rare cases, “rutilated” with Goethite.

Thanks for this and thanks to the others that commented.

I don't know where this crystal comes from, but reading what you posted definitely makes it feel like something positive. The descriptions of the spiritual aspects of amethyst fit in with my spiritual experiences in dreams and revelations lately, especially the balance between spirituality and reason and logic.

One thing that jumped out is the part about amethyst being part of the foundation of the 'new Jerusalem' since that city has been a common theme in my visions and dreams lately, where she (the city) appears as a bride and a manifestation of creativity and spirituality as I have written here on the forum in my journal. This whole experience is so strange, yet unstoppable it seems.

According to my dreams I am to be born again with great difficulty, whatever that means. Everything is building up to something happening at the end of March next year since I'm about halfway through the 36 weeks I saw in a dream, and even though it's scary and confusing I'm starting to sense some kind of resolution in sight at least. I don't like writing about these experiences since what is happening could be only personal and subjective and about personal spiritual growth or awakening and I come across as deranged, which is partly why I haven't been on the forum much, but it feels good to share and get some insight.

Thanks.

As an aside, I sleep with a small amethyst crystal under my pillow. I'm working on cleansing my third eye so that I can see more and I can tell you for certain that the amethyst has enabled me to remember my dreams better. I've been remembering more of my dreams for the past month than any other time of my life combined.

extremely heavy and I am only able to shift it slightly

Looks like a crossing of timelines - hence the difficulty in shifting a small stone that is not properly in this space

If so, who/what is attracting your attention for what purpose?

My first thought after reading was "why dont you ask it?" - approach it, with your questions as intent, tell it you need to know why it came to you.

Can we stop acting like this is a mundane crystal? Sure crystals can have powerful effects as described, but typicallly they dont poof out of thin "literally"

It would seem to me either a very very powerful practicioner, or more likely a gift or tool from a spirit guide/god/goddess. the latter seems more likely to me, but either way its not a thing to be taken lightly

My own perception is that an entity looks through the crystal, knowing the human on site, and looking for a possible group escape from an adverse situation.

The reason the crystal is so hard to move may be that the crystal is primarily in another reality.

It sounds like an amethyst geode. They're used for their energy. And like all energy, it can be manipulated. If you don't vibe with it, get rid of it. Or cleanse it.

Thank you for the replies, I have been a bit preoccupied so I won't try and respond to everything.

So, as an update, I wanted to put the crystal under running water, but once again I could not bring myself to move it, so I dripped some water over it, and from the color of the crystals it is definitely amethyst. I did that yesterday.

Now, in continuing the strange events, and I'm not sure how to state this, and I don't know if it is related...and if anybody is squeamish it may be better to skip the rest of this...

Since this morning all the dark spots (moles) on my skin have been itching intensely, so much that I decided if it continues I would have to see my gp. But after my bath tonight, I noticed they were gone. I don't know what is going on. There were two large ones, one on my finger, and a big one on my shoulder that my gp ordered a biopsy on about 3 years ago, but they are gone, no scar nothing. Even my orion shaped birthmark that has always been part of me and was on my neck just under my Adam's apple...gone.

I don't know what's happening. There is this feeling of anticipation building. Today I haven't even had time to think about my spiritual troubles, since these material things are happening.

I have this strong feeling of a female energy caring for me. It's hard to put into words. It is not a romantic energy, but a motherly one, as if I'm at long last being taken care of. It's indescribable after so many years of neglect and abuse. Even if I died now I would be at peace.

Apologies for over sharing. Thanks

. There is this feeling of anticipation build
It looks like there is an energy field expanding from within the stone. The energy is nurturing for you but has other purposes.

You may have some non-physical friends arriving
