Black magic can mean different things to different practitioners. Why not list what it means to you. For example for some this will mean demonic magic, curses, any baneful spell, any self serving spell, etc… So when you say you want to learn black magic what sort of things are you hoping to learn about? 🦇✨

What I mean is the real, that is not church/hollywood version of Black Magic as was known and used in pagan times. Ive always found the worlds prescribed religions to be oppressive and to me it seems true free spirituality can only be found in the culturally proscribed belief systems.

You'll have to be more specific still. So far it seems that you want to rebel against Christianity and see the black magic from Christian point of view.

I'll help you a little.
Do you seek the world as bad or even as the enemy? Seek A-cosmic or anti-cosmic works. Thursatru, Gnosticism...
Do you seek demons? Goethia, Kabbalah...
Do you seek the dead, working with bones and graveyards? Necromancy.
Do you seek curses that you want to throw at others to cause harm? Study curses, but be warned, you will make enemies.

Well originally they weren’t calling it black magic that comes from the church demonization of magic practices and our more modern satanic flavor of black magic. I personally practice a traditional witchcraft with influences from Basque traditional witchcraft, Balkan traditional witchcraft, Cornish traditional witchcraft, Welsh traditional witchcraft, Irish traditional witchcraft, and others. But for me Folklore and older traditions rooted in nature, fae, necromancy, spirits, and the divine was important.

In a traditional witchcraft practices one often works with fae, plant/tree/fungi spirits, the dead, various gods depending on the region, the fetch self/fetch beast/fetch mate, sabbatic witchcraft, ecstatic witchcraft, dream magic such as lucid dreaming, hexing, blessing, cleansing, etc… it covers a lot and was considered black magic by the church.🦇✨

Well said, some practitioners because of their powers, like shamans, lived aside the society, both feared as well as admired, especially when needed.

There was also cool debate here about what actually is Black magic, asking for opinions of people. Worth reading.
