So I have always wondered what exactly is magic? Why does it work, what are the principles behind it, why is the magic I try to make always backfiring, why do I feel so dirty after trying to make magic? First of all, I am quite schizophrenic and constantly on the assault by intrusive dreams and very horrific stuff, but this gave me some insight into how things work and finally, I think I have a grasp on it. Magic, it seems is not for me, rather it allows some vulnerabilities in my being that are immediately exploited and attacked. Why so, well, I figured because the collective subconscious deems me as a threat or a waste.
1. So the first question, where? Where does magic come from?
1. My answer to this is the collective subconscious. Everything is interconnected. Out personal self and individuality is a sphere withing spheres. The first layer is our personal subconscious, our first line of defense, our more personal memories and experiences, after that comes the collective human subconscious, then things get weird, animals get added onto it, plants, fungi, stars, the universe. I see the totality of all connections as the One God. So magic, comes from the interconnected state, the closer one is to that state and keeps their intent, the more effective their magic becomes, this is why meditation to keep your sense and intention intact while descending into a more interconnected state is quite vital in magic.

2. I see magic as a transformation of energies to serve a purpose. This transformation is done with the intent of the magician and using an already established external system or creating your own established system and making it popular. Intent is important because it gathers those energies into something more palpable, to go along with it emotions too are very important and sexual energy as well. I see magic in the human being as rising from the lower sphere of sexuality to then be refined by emotion in the emotional sphere and then be refined by the mind with intent and conscious focus in the mental sphere and realized. This is why established systems of magic are more potent, because they already have a ladder, a factory built in the collective subconscious, a foundation to take from. To attempt magic randomly and strongly without some proper establishment is to suddenly jump in a chaos and let it all change you... not advisable.
So to simplify further after that paragraph and provide a more simple layered approach, here it is.
The human being, a collection of 3 major parts, earth, human, heaven
1. the sexual, the earth, closest to the collective subconscious, usually has very 'dirty' energies, traumas, fears, nasty at times, resides around the sexual organs, obviously, the tip of the spine, rises up to be purifies by different centers.
2. the emotional, the human, in the middle, it purifies the energies coming from the sexual side, while balancing the mental side, just like the heart, it seeks to deliver it's energy all throughout the entirety of the human being while also guarding the mental. There is a good saying, if one loses control of their heart, one will soon lose control of their mind too.
3. the mental, the heaven, in the upper part, the head is the center. The mental is responsible for intent, imagination, idealism. It takes what the heart purifies, purifies it further and attempts to build something entirely new out of those energies all the time.
So the human mind contains representations of the emotional and the sexual within it and a representation of itself, splitting endlessly like that.
So for the best way for magic to function and give the best results:
1. Intent, the sense of self of the idea, what is wanted has to be thoroughly known and constructed.
2. The emotions supporting that sense of self of the idea has to work for it, not against it, they need to cooperate.
3. There has to be a proper way, established to rise up the sexual chaotic energy of the collective subconscious through a set of filters to reach the designed goal.
Think of 1, in this case as the ground, earth, even though it is heaven, the first is the receptive side of the lightning.
The 2 is the way the lightning will take, the shortest path made by the heart's oceanic wavy nature, preparing the shortest path.
The 3 is the lightning itself that if striking where it needs to, great results will be achieved, but if not, it will destroy, corrupt and defile.
If all of that is made possible, then the lightning will take the way of the heart and find the mental idea with it's sense of self and construct something incredible.
Well, I found, I am quite lacking in the 3 department. the earth, the sexual. Rather than lacking, it seems those energies quite actively try to 'harm' me, I say 'harm' as in they try to change my truth and way of being and pervert it. It seems, my way of being goes quite against the collective subconscious. I am too different, too isolated, too unable to properly connect with the collective in my way and it seems I am deemed a threat or a waste. Well, whatever. For me understanding of magic took more of a protective tone. I understand it to protect myself from it, isolate myself further from the collective and slowly but surely build from a place where my boundaries are respected, build in it my own truth. It's necessary, because if I allowed myself too close, my truth will all burn down and I will have no blueprint with which to build anymore.
I say isolate, but I am just building further protections in my own subconscious to guard against potential attack. I know, a very schizophrenic thing, but it truly is horrible to find myself in degrading collective subconscious nightmares, forced to play a role I can't stomach and it disgusts me. I know it's collective because I don't even look at things like that and don't feed my mind those things, some of them I never fed in my entire life.
I would be very happy if some of you could provide some food for thought, something to read that could potentially help me to guard better against the collective subconscious and establish better boundaries, I really need those. It's not fun to find myself in some sexual rape orgy of men, or some old man's body and feel the sting as my blood is sucked... hell I am not even attracted to those like seriously what the hell? And those are human, when things go really haywire I find myself in eldritch realms of horror where things are really really really weird.
I have no idea what that hunt is all about really... I wish to make something beautiful, healing, innocent and I surround myself with those. Honestly I am fine now because of that, it helped me tons.
