Magical stones

Hello does anyone know about magical stones? I’m looking for a protection stone. I understand stones are a secret. Are there books on this? Thank you for any information.

Try doing a forum search for talismans. Yes, there are books available. Yes, you can find lots of web pages and YouTube videos about making protective talismans. You can buy them already charged even. If you are just starting out in magic, you would need to do energy work for some time before you can make effective talismans.

It's quite a long forum thread, but there are some good recommendations for books in it. And another book was recently shared in the library which may not be on that thread, but it does look useful (but not one I am personally using):

Let me clarify that energy work involves things like protection rituals with breathing work and visualization, often called "high magic." It is also possible to attempt using "low magic" to accomplish the same work, in which case you'd want books on witchcraft or similar practices.

I’m looking for a protection stone

Walk along a shoreline looking at stones. Pick up the stones that look at you.

Take them home and during meditation, put your attention to each stone in turn. If you get a positive feeling from a stone, give it some light from your heart and ask it (the elemental of the stone) if it will protect you

This reminds me a bit of that part on lucky / protective stones in Aradia Gospel of Witches. I always take round or spherical stones home if I find any and keep them outside my door. The protection and luck is nice of course, but this way it also creates a little sheltered spot for ladybugs, isopods and other small insects that aren't too creepy .

You might want to look into hag stones - these are stones with a natural hole in it, all kinds of folklore attached to them.
