If I had an Esotericism and Occult Top Ten First Books reading list then Mitch Horowitz's '30-Day Mental Challenge' may very well be in the number one spot.

I do love the demons, but I am pretty much convinced Mitch's '30-Day Mental Challenge,' is probably best starting point to get acquainted with one's imagination, and what clicks for how yours works. Getting your imagination under control also stops so you from torturing yourself or other people. Seriously, most people do not recognize how they are their own worst enemy.

Yes, Goetia will lead to experiences that will blow your mind, but if you're still using your very powerful and divine imagination to create stupid and pointless misery, create needless or debilitating drama , then do Mitch's simple routine until you're a calm, decent, and maybe even pleasantly contented human being.

Seriously, this works, as well as the Neville Goddard's Law of Assumption (LOA) Mitch sometimes writes about.

Then go learn Goetia, or whatever. Point being, after this, the rest is just gravy.

But don't just take my word for it, as director David Lynch says, “Mitch is solid gold.”
