I moved out the group home finally after living there for a couple of years. My aunt and her husband had me move to the moutains building earlier then I originally thought they would. I moved in Friday. Saturday I for the first time ever made a list and brought groceries for a week worth of food. I've brought groceries before just never for a week and for myself having to plan out the meals. I think I did a good job. My aunt and her husband said they were going to stay with me till Monday which means they leaving today. I'll be on my own with the cats except when my aunts husband visits every other week.
The cats are finally done holding a grudge they were holding one because they never been on a 5 hour car trip and naturally needed time to adjust to their new home. I was the one that put them in their crates before loading them up in the car and found out the hard way that you put cats in a crate backpaws first. Otherwise theyll fight hard. I now have scratches on my neck and stomach because I did not realize this with the first cat. To be fair if someone picked me up to throw me in a box and i had no idea why id fight too.
Now they here and have adjusted a small bit they seem to like me ok. They keep coming to me for pets. They'll likely need more adjusting once my aunt and her husband leave since they are their cats. They may end up looking for them would not surprise me. I'll have to reassure them they are ok and not abandoned. Imma give them time to get used to me and the new house before trying to train them to do tricks. They good kitties.
I'm really proud of myself. I think I can do this live mostly on my own. Pretty soon I'll be able to leave for germany the plan is to figure out a time line once im done with my associates in December. I want to adjust more to living on my own first and learn more german.
I've been a bit of a mess emotionally lately. Kinda worried about isolation. The place in the mountains is in the middle of no where with like two neighbors. Everyone who cares about me in the real world will be living hours away. Even my aunt and her husband will have to drive 5 hours every other week and so to check on me. I will say it's got a big yard with a lot of wildlife. I saw a bear in the yard hanging out on the surveillance camera. Minding their own business. There's also a badger of some sorts living in hole in the yard. There also is a creek right next to the house. It's a nice place. I like it here. Only worried about isolation that's it.
I will get more involved in occult activities once I'm more adjusted. I still need to unpack my bags been procrastinating. I am hopeful for life ahead if a little scared.
