Following on from a reading list which I recommended on this subject some weeks back, below I have linked to the best documentaries on the authentic "occultism" of the Third Reich.

Increasingly, I see well-produced but sensationalist accounts of post-WWII lunatic fringe theories posted on YouTube. The theories in these documentaries do not have their roots in the National Socialist Weltanschauung but in what the Allies speculated to be at work behind that worldview, often with distortions of what motivated the Third Reich. This is a bad approach all round. If, as many makers claim, they are making these documentaries in the spirit of "Never Again" (itself a Nazi slogan referring to Communist incursions into Wiemar Germany) it would be wisest to deal with what actually led to the war rather than fantasies about UFOs and Hollow Earth.

The documentaries below are the best of the best on this subject. They are mostly British and American though sensationalism (sadly inescapable in its entirety) is kept to a minimum and the emphasis is on the metastasisation of ideas from Romanticism to the esoteric dimensions of the Völkisch movement to German state policy.

Ah, I have a few more links but cannot post more than two pieces of media in one post. I shall share incrementally in that case.

The following clips are some of the very few dealing with the

. One of the clips makes the ridiculous claim that the Nazis were studying witch trials in order to discover torture methods. They were, instead, considering whether the witch trials were an attempt by the church to exterminate the Germanic people through femicide.

I would also strongly recommend the Third Reich produced art film Ewiger Wald ('The Enchanted Forest'). This film was made to educate the public on the organic relationship between the forest and the folk. As such it demonstrates the esoteric impulses of the Third Reich in practical terms. I cannot embed it but you can watch it with English subtitles

Whilst there can be no doubt at all the Nazis were indeed working on some truly exotic propulsion systems (Viktor Schauberger's system for one) and were years, if not decades ahead of the Allies, it is equally beyond doubt that fortunately for us, Adolf was screaming, totally stark staring bonkers crazy & wasted resources on things that would never have made the difference against the overwhelming conventional weaponry arrayed against him from Russia & the US - yes, the V1/V2 led to some truly awesome developments in the 1960's but if the resources poured into that firework had been spent on the ME-262 or the Panther & King Tiger Tanks, then Normandy would have been a very different picture indeed - as it was it was very touch & go.
Perhaps the best account of the whole 'Blitzkreig' of the early war I have ever read is the one called 'Blitzed' by Norman Ohler where most of the Wehrmacht & Luftwaffe were out of their brains on Pervetin (Methamphetamine, made by the Merck company who also produced extremely high grade cocaine) and this stuff was so widespread it was even an ingredient in chocolates for housewives!
It all worked so well during the early weeks of WW2 it's use became an absolute given.

There has been a lot of BS written about the Ahnenerbe and the so-called 'Search for the Holy Grail' (which never existed as a physical object anyway) but it does make for fun reading. The fact that Himmler was also not only deranged (as were most of the Nazi high-ups) but also saw himself as some kind of mystical figure cannot be seriously doubted - just look at Wewelsberg Castle - but in truth he was a failed chicken farmer and one of the biggest thugs of the last century, alongside Heydrich, Stalin and the rest of the totalitarian scum.
They give Magick a bad name indeed.

Interesting, I can safely tell you that the Führer was a staunch catholic. As catholic as it gets. He said so himself in Mein Kampf and later interviews and all, he always relates back to his catholic upbringing and his faithful mother.

Some like Bormann and Himmler however recognised the true enemy of the Volk, the church and christianity and acted accordingly to it. Himmler himself carried a Bhagavad-Gita with him and loved Hindu teachings.

But there was barely anything occult however besides this happening and most of it is just sensationalism and confusing german traditions (which are pagan) for it.

While Evola was in Vienna and Munich beginning in the 40s he didn't seem to have met Himmler. Perhaps one of the other officers did but his contribution to anything occult and the SS must have been limited. As not even Himmler talked about Hyperborea, something Evola pioneereed in Germany and that links to Hinduism.

One of the few things they did was an attempt to exterminate Freemasonry in europe, to which they unfortunately failed, since most of them are jews that fled to the US (go figure). This dossier, originally ordered by Reinhard Heydrich, made by Dieter Schwarz und Ernst Kaltenbrunner tells a lot of interesting things based on confiscated Freemasonry archives from Paris, Vienna and later Rome. Heydrich himself had a distaste for anything occult though.

It was translated into english by them, so there's no fuckery with it,

The SS did not really know what to make of Evola. They had some problems with his "spiritual conception" of race, less for dogmatic reasons than the fact that Evola himself was feeling his way. Then, too, they were suspicious of Evola due to the fact his own government had drug its heels when it came to issuing him a passport. (There had some years before when Evola was under suspicion for some hints he had dropped about assassination using magicj.)
