New Pope new hope?

the pope has died and they are going to choose a new pope. the new pope has great influence in the spheres our interests lay, so who would one want like to see as the new pope? i ask cause for example in tarot cards there are pope cards. these are subconscious doors. the real pope rules from the vatican, the religious center of the earth

From another thread, but a good question. Not everybody here will want to see a new Pope at all, but if a new one is going to be elected: what would you hope he is going to bring to the chair?

I’m pro social justice and everything but deep down I want to see a more esoteric focused pope.

I quickly looked at the st Malachy list again. Franciscus seems to have tried to be the last one but thankfully he is not. I think another direction (more esoteric or rather more old fashioned) would be the quality I hope to see in the new Papa

Honestly, I don't really have much opinion other than I hope the next Pope actually follows the book instead of all the stuff Francis did to support things that the Bible explicitly said was wrong. Not a Christian but one would think the spiritual leader of a major religion's actions and policies wouldn't contradict the doctrine they are supposed to be the final arbiter of.
