[Help] Next step after acquiring scrying mirror

Hello all, I bought my first scrying mirror from a local metaphysical shop.

It’s a 3 inch obsidian mirror. Do I need to do any sort of cleansing/ consecrating? If so what is your preferred method.

Well if you're lazy like me then: Sea salt + water for cleansing, burn Frankincense & Myrrth to consecrate. Light a white candle in front of it.
