[Art] Nordic Bronze Age Petroglyph Veil

I've developed a habit of wearing bandanas lately as a veil, but I haven't found any with patterns I quite like and I'm not a huge fan of the paisley pattern. I used glue as a resist for dye, and washed it out after the dye settled. I'm pretty happy with the result.

It's set so the sun wheel sits perfectly above my head.

What type of fabric did you use, was it all cotton or polyester or a blend? Did you use Rit? When I was reenacting we used walnut dyes for a lot of things but I never got into dying really.

that’s really a cool project, reminds me of how they haven’t decoded those Neolithic symbols yet.

Haha, this isn't anything super advanced. It's a 100% cotton bandana blank from Walmart, a random tie-dye kit and Elmer's school glue. I ended up spending about $20 total for something I'm really happy with
