[Tutorial] Och's Novena(Arbatel Theurgy Group)

This ritual/prayer is a summation of the last two rituals, an intersection of the energies of the last two rituals' energies into one. You will only use 1 Candle and 1 Glass of Water and the seal of Och below the glass of water. You will be drinking 90% of the water and leaving 10% to be refilled the next day. I recommend covering the glass with a tissue so nothing falls inside. This is to be started On Sunday(8th Februray 2026) on hour of the Sun. This is a Novena to be done for 9 days just to note.

This will end a day before February 17, 2026 when a Solar Eclipse will happen. Most likely there's going to be a Lunar working with Phul in the end.

Praise be to you, good spirits of the Lord. Nevertheless not my will be done, but thine, through Jesus Christ thy onely begotten Son, our Lord. Amen.


Och, through the virtue of Aratron and Hagith and by your virtue I pray that you’re able to manifest your universal laws within my life and give me the blessing of finding my own centre and be able to break free of what’s afflicting me, submerge me in the ocean of your eternal Love and Honor and let the light shine unto the end of the world.


Let me be able to discourse with knowledge and understanding of all things visible and invisible, and to understand the power of every thing, and to what it belongeth. Oh Och allow this Novena be an empowerment to perform the works of natural Magick, of what sort soever they be. Oh Och Let me be a good house-keeper both in the Country and City, Amen.

Rationale:

Welp Today is the summation of both (2 days ago) and last week, Saturn provides the "skeleton" or "frame" (structure/direction). Venus provides the "unconditional divine love" (energy/fluidity). Without Saturn, the love goes "nowhere"; without Venus, the structure is empty. Once the Frame (Saturn) is filled with Energy (Venus), the "Sun" acts as the focal point.

Implicit hidden manifestation, It requires no fanfare or drama. It is natural, inevitable, and majestic, just like the sun rising and setting. It is not "forced." It avoids trying too hard to be "magical or mystical."

The Guardian angel balances "extreme structure" (Saturn) and "extreme fluidity" (Venus). It acts as the bridge between the underworld (wisdom/ancestors) and the heavenly realms. So the Guardian Angel is the force that balance between extreme structure and extreme expansion, extreme structure and extreme fluidity. And sandwiched between the Guardian Angel and wisdom. The wisdom could be the teacher, the wisdom could be the mentor, the wisdom could be the ancestor, the wisdom could be all those who are carrying us unto the underworld. And the Guardian Angel is also carrying us in the heavenly realms.

You are not wrestling the result into existence (forcing). You are demonstrating or showing the reality of the manifestation. It is about authority and technique, not brute force. "Skill-manship" (or Showmanship) over "Strong-manship." Removing all "excessive fluff." Keep it clean and direct. No complex theatrical gestures are needed. Ensure the ending feels "easy on the spirits" and "easy on the self." It should feel natural, like the sun setting after a day of work.

Maybe!! I never tried that personally. I am reading it in his new book Claves and he mention the following:

A conjuration of the Olympic Spirit Bethor achieved the same result, with Bethor arriving before the end of the conjuration but waiting for its completion to engage. A conjuration of the Lunar Intelligence Chasmodai was also very successful with very good post-ritual results too.

Other conjurations proved similarly successful, with the angel minister Guth, demon ruler Beelzebub, demon prince Orobas, demon duke Dantalion, demon president Marbas, demon messenger/herald Emlon, demon Aglasis and others also all turning up very promptly. From the range of conjurations performed, the results were good enough for me to include the wind conjuration as part of my sequence moving forward. I am not saying that it will guarantee the spirits always turn up as soon as the conjuration is finished, but it does seem to increase the response time greatly. I would also like to emphasise that other practitioners added the wind conjuration in to other grimoire conjuration sequences including those in the Arbatel, Ars Goetia, Discoverie of Witchcraft, Drawing Spirits into Crystals, Grimorium Verum and Key of Solomon, so you can include it in other workings and do not have to just use it in the sequence I provide. It has worked perfectly when added before the main spirit conjuration in these other grimoires. Further, the presence of the winds was also noted to add extra power to the charging and consecration of talismans and pentacles, as they bring their own additional energy to the rite.

Whilst I believe including the winds is the restoration of an important and effective component of grimoire conjuration, please note I am not
saying the use of the winds is compulsory; rather, that it does seem to speed up the process significantly and add extra magical momentum.
Ganellus discusses this (fo.381), but makes clear that the direction of calling is still essential with or without the winds:

Another question is whether the spirit can be called before the stirring and calling of the winds, so that it comes first. I answer that it must be done towards the place, then he must pray towards the same place towards which he wants to be called, so that the spirits are thereby compelled

I personally think that I can see how the Wind/Universal Prana(Astral Light) can speed up the process. I can see that you would think that, since the ritual does have implicit invocation of this principle through resonance and the Sun's force. I would be happy to include a wind's invocation before this and see if there's any difference to this invocation/novena prayer!
