Opinion on selling the soul.
About selling your soul to the Devil.

The topic of selling your soul to the Devil is being actively discussed on the Internet, and not only in the magical realm. It's hard to say whether it's due to some financial crisis or a spiritual crisis. But the fact remains - search engines return tens of thousands of pages for the query "how to sell your soul to Satan". There are women's forums where housewives tired of idleness discuss various nonsense, and pages of black magicians offering, so to speak, mediation services. All this gives rise to many myths and profanations, and gives dishonest people an extra opportunity to earn money.

So, what is a soul anyway? Unlike other esoteric teachings, followers of black magic consider a person to consist of a physical body (which is mortal) and an astral soul (an immortal energy substance). Roughly speaking, the soul is a semblance of the spirit. But what is its value, what is there in this soul that the Devil (according to various personalities) is ready to bestow any material benefits on a person for its possession? In reality, there are not many options. The soul can either join the legions of the Dark Forces, or, roughly speaking, become their food. The thing is that in the other world there is only one currency, one value and food - energy. The soul is an energetic substance, so it can be exchanged for various joys of life. Everything seems simple, right? But if so, why are there so many unhappy people in the world? They do not know about this miraculous ritual, or are they all believers, saving their souls for heavenly bliss? No! Their souls are simply of no use to anyone, because:

  • they have weak energy;
  • they already belong to the Dark Forces.

1. In order for a person to be physically healthy, he must play sports, lead a healthy lifestyle. The same story with the soul. Energetically, units develop themselves. The souls of the rest are valued about as much as an old alcoholic at a boxing competition.
2. If a person drinks, uses drugs, leads a promiscuous sex life - in 99% of cases, he already belongs to demons in one way or another. Someone may call this church nonsense, but the fact remains a fact and a holy place is never empty - "unclaimed" souls are quickly picked up by lower spirits, prowling the world in an eternal hungry search. In our world, there is nothing ownerless, the same situation is There. If in the old days people were forced to go to church, and their souls were collected by the Christian egregor, now the average person at best goes there on a holiday, and the rest of the time lives as he wants. The same category is replenished with victims of damage, love spells and amateurs - the authors of demonic influences, flirting with Black magic. The Devil has no reason to buy something that already belongs to Him (+ if it is also of low quality).

Remember, there are only 2 options when a successful deal with Satan is possible:

1. You are a very spiritual, holy person, or a strong adherent of another System, i.e. you have developed energy, moral principles and some weight in the Other world. True, if a person really practices something and cannot solve the problem, then he is clearly doing the wrong thing. Spiritual people usually do not need billions. But, there are different cases - a fatal disease or the threat of 15 years in prison for a loved one can force you to decide on such a step and beg for help from the One who can do everything, from the Prince of this world - Lucifer.

2. You will be beneficial to Satan in the power structures. But this requires strength and character, and, alas, this cannot be acquired by any ritual. A schoolboy who dreams of becoming Hitler, but regularly gets beaten up by his classmates, will continue to come home from school beaten up - no Satan will help him.

Do you think it is possible to sell your soul?

NO!

"You" in the sense used here, refers to a "Persona", masking an "Individual" being or a "Spark of All That Is". It seems ludicrous to me to consider that the "Created" Persona could SELL it's "Creator" the (Higher Self, THE SOUL). I wasn't going to comment on this, but damn, whenever I hear something like this the part of me in charge of "WTF" wakes up, it's an "asinine" concept, IMO! Others may have a different view, Fine by Me! Explain to me How it can be Done? o_O And, IF "Satan" et al, is in a position to "BUY" It, well "I Gotta Bridge" for SALE Too!

Do you think it is possible to sell your soul?
Yes, absolutely. Lots of demons will make that deal with people. If you make the deal, you've done it. It's a ridiculous idea, possibly the worst act of magick you can perform, but I don't see why it's not possible to do anyway.

My understanding of the afterlife is that we create it with our beliefs while we are alive. Specifically the emotional energy we feel around those beliefs. In the case of having sold ones soul, your afterlife would presumably be being used as a battery, powering the demon. I doubt this is truly eternal, since it's powered by your beliefs, and goes against the "normal" system of reincarnation in the universe. Eventually I expect your beliefs will run out of emotional energy, the universe will prevail, and you'll move on. I believe the same thing about christians in heaven or hell. If you can believe it, you can experience it in the astral, or the afterlife. Maybe even for millions of earth years.

One could describe the universe as an enormous casino, owned and built by Source. There will be some small winners, and a few big winners, who defy the system for a while, but eventually the house wins, and we end up back in unity with Source. Despite anything we've done to stay seperate, including selling our souls, or even ascending through magick. This is my gnosis, anyway.

Yes, I believe it is possible to sell one's soul. When a lower power magician or sorcerer attempts to evoke negative beings (a Devil or possibly even a high-ranking Demon) for selfish purposes, the evoked being, if they come at all, usually demands something in return from the sorcerer. Note that a higher power Magus has nothing to fear from negative beings, since He is as One with God the Creator, and the Devil or Demon will do his bidding without any kind of demands whatsoever. But these lower-class magicians have to give something to get what they want, and that something is usually their soul. A pact is agreed to by both parties, and certain powers and abilities are granted to the sorcerer from the negative being in question. The pact can also be involuntary, unknown to the magician until after his death. After all, services must be paid for; you rarely ever get something for nothing.

After their physical death, the black magician must ante up to the negative being and become a minion of evil for a certain time according to the conditions of the pact. After their service is up, they can start their natural evolution and eventually reincarnate as a human again. But if the black magician totally identifies with the evil services that they perform, then they can stop evolving spiritually and wind up permanently becoming a Demon. This is what is known as “Eternal Damnation”.

Just my $0.02.

I personally don't believe it is possible for someone to sell their soul, at least not in the way we tend to see in works of fiction. To me, a person's soul is their most prized possession and no one can or will ever have ownership over it but yourself. It's "nontransferable" to others, no matter what you do.

What I do believe is that a person may "sell their time", something like indentured servitude.A period of time where they will abide by rules set previously and will work towards fulfilling the needs and demands of the entities they made a pact with.
But this would be things that would be stipulated previously(just like a contract) and the person would decide if they do want to follow up on their promise or not.To me, the worst that could happen are the entities no longer wanting to work with an oathbreaker.

Your soul is yours, others will only have power over it if you allow them.

People already sell their bodies and souls to other people in exchange for various commodities. Some make one step further and sell their souls to non-human beings. But, one must be able to offer something valuable for the non-human beings to be interested. Obese lazy human is of no interest to anyone except maybe for some ethereal beings of very low rank and only as food and nothing more. And other way around, as someone has already pointed in previous post, if person is of high spiritual standing and is of outstanding purity, his soul is welcome for the Pact with high rank beings.

I figure if you can sell something you can probably buy it back. But I am not certain if economics applied to spiritually is not a projection. It makes a fun story.
Probably the notion started in a witch trial somewhere.

Thanks to everyone who responded.

I recently got acquainted with the following concept of the soul, but it is far from the prevailing ideas in the world.

So, according to it, souls before birth belong to different creators (of which there are many), thereby explaining the fact that people in life are so different (some are entrepreneurs from childhood, others are creators, others are bandits). And naturally, the creator who owns a large number of souls is stronger than the rest.

According to this theory, a soul can be exchanged with both the Devil and, for example, with the spirit of water, forest, fire, spirits of the elements, etc.
So-so theory, to be honest. But nothing is excluded!

N.B. Want to add that one of the works cited in that book is from Josephine McCarthy / Quareia. I respect her stuff, but she is "heavy" on "Theurgy", nothing wrong there, just saying for those not acquainted with her body of work! (y)

The soul is neither born nor dies; it does not arise from anything and does not arise from nothing. It is unborn, eternal, immortal and ageless. It is not destroyed when the body is destroyed." The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says....

I can also show you a dozen texts, give statistics on the number of adherents who believe the opposite.
Why are you so sure? If I say that the soul is born and dies, and you say the opposite, then at least the mathematical probability that one of us is right at the moment is 50 to 50%. And no one knows the truth for sure. Think about it.

"Believe".

Something meditated the universe into existence and subsequently also the soul came up. This creator knows.

You can not sell your soul. But people certainly sell their spirits and become slaves to the modern banking system. Working fay in and day out to aquire made up currency in an artificial economy, while the elite live in clover.

At the top: A few hundred tyrants
At the bottom: around 6 billion bend-overs

You already sold yourself to satan by being a good goyim and never fighting the system unless it tells you to fight someone. Or have you not gotten the vaccine 3 times as they told you to? You don't need to do it again.

What we need now are Kshatriya. Warrior. Heroes. Hercules & Alexander. Everyone knows their names. But no one knows the names of slaves. Sell your soul to me or whatever cause if you like, but fight for once.
