Past life experience

I had a past life experience just recently. I was outside smoking a cigarette when all of a sudden I started having memories of being on a battle field, with bombs going on around me and a ringing In my ears. I wouldn't have thought it was a past life experience and just another vision except for how my actual body reacted. I basically almost freezed up and then I ducked back into cover. Has anyone ever had similar experiences?
