Pet owners, what scents and incenses do you personally use?

We’ve got cats and dogs in a small apartment and I’ve avoided incense for a couple of years now because of them, even though I like to be a bit of a purist (definitely missing my ritual fumigations!). Their health and safety is my first priority. I’d love to hear what you personally like to do and what your substitutes and solutions are, particularly if your pets hate being locked away in a room for a time!
