Belief in yourself and your own abilities definitely increases the success rate of workings, and nothing influences your belief in yourself quite so much as someone else believing in you (and, of course, someone disbelieving in you can be a huge blow to the practicing ego, thus the pillar "TO KEEP SILENT"). So please, share some early experience(s) of someone you performed a working for and how it went, so that we can all revel in each other's successes.

Here's the story I wanted to share:
A family friend came up with us to deer camp for his first time hunting (crossbow). For dinner he fried up a bunch of bacon. I asked for the group's permission to do a ritual to help with the hunt and they assented, so I took the paper towels with all the bacon grease and through it in the fire to read the flames. I saw two birds in the grease as it burnt, so when I came back I told him "When you see two birds flying from the east, get ready for the deer to appear".
The next day, he told me it happened. He didn't know which direction the birds were flying from, but when he saw two, he got ready and the deer appeared. I'll always remember the way he told the story: "I saw two birds flying and I thought 'oh shit, that fucker was serious' and the deer came right out as I got my bow ready". (It was funnier when he said it).
