I find it funny to find out that some form of magic happen hidden in the plain sight. One of them is having a plushie. A lot of people have a plushie and not only kids. Even some adults keep a plushie toy to hug and to keep them company when sleeping.
Actually I wasn't planning on exploring the energetic effects of this toy, I just bought one. I was already adult, but I decided that I want it so I bought one. It still is very nice to have something to hug. Inevitably the toy got charged by my energy and in time I found out that just holding the toy brings feelings of calm and safety. Good for me and good for kids that get attached tot heir favorite plushie too.
Such a toy has energetic charge and connection to its owner. So even with kids, you respect the person, you should respect the plushie too. And not only when the owner is around. Among other things this could be considered one of possible evidences that anyone can do magic. This kind of enchanting on a toy is very natural. It also explains why replacement toy doesn't immediately feels the same as the old toy that had been lost. (or whatever is the reason for replacement)
For awakened and active working occultist the plushie still has a use. Actually the same as for kids. Adult people still have feelings and need for physical touch. Plushie doesn't replace them fully but it can still help. We can in occult way think about it as a battery that stores our own energy and it is energy of good feeling, comfort.
It can be challenging after years to just sit with a plushie and hug it like a kid, spontaneously, and just enjoy it. Even to play with it a little. It can be done, the plushie are made nowadays from materials very pleasant to touch. (even after multiple washes) So even if it starts with just enjoying the feeling of the material on the skin, that is a start too. Occultist can speed up charging by being more conscious about it and once the proper feeling comes, the energy can be send into the toy, charging it. Though I would say that giving it a lot of energy is not really needed and it can be wasted as the toy might not be able to keep it much and it is not meant to be sealed away, but to be in contact with you.
Then the use of it is for adult the same as for a kid. When kids are upset, they seek their toy to hug and calm down again. Why shouldn't an occultist do the same? The toy is charged with energy that came from the person so even occultists mind will react to it too and gets comforted. Even without conscious programing many times repeated hugging of the toy programs it to induce the feeling. Can be very useful in both mundane and spiritual situations.
