Poem: Not Alone

Title: Not Alone
Are you thinking of me?
As I flew to the sun,
To fall into the shallows to the fathoms below, swimming against the tide till I learn to go with the flow,
Now im watching the world continue to spin,
Burn like a phoenix, rebuild from the ash,
Climb up from the dirt,
Lay in the grass watch the clouds above,
Be as peaceful as a cat laying 'neath the moon,
Be as strong as a lion roaring in wind,
Claw your fears, tear the roots of pain,
And howl at the sky, a wolf with it's pack,
Know I'm not alone.
A fiery force to reckoned with, grasping the animal within,
I've been many things to many people...
A Warrior, a Poet, an Orphan, a Crying Child
a Lover, a Loner, a Teacher, a Student,
a Gifted Old Soul, A Fractured Adult,
a Ray of Light, and a Darken Cloud,
Now I need to learn to just Be,
I can be Free
I just need to find my Own Way.
