Hello everyone, do you guys and gals have an Animal Companion that you are working with? I haven't yet seen a thread that speaks about working with your Spirit Animals.

I've worked with Cat, Owl, Crow, heck I even had a Black-grayish Dragon that I saw onc in a dream. How about you guys, and gals, do you have Animal Companions in your paths?

I've literally always felt like wolves were my spirit animal. I know, sounds cliche, but I've always been interested. I can remember donating allowance money to the WWF for wolf conservation when I was a kid. I've never tried to work with wolves in a magical sense, tho. I'm not really sure why.

May I ask, what kind of Animal is it? I never heard of an Amur before.

I'm not aware of having any power animals or other familiars, though I have on occasion seen animals in dreams. One dream I wrote down in the last month was quite unusual for me:

"The building structure had a clean design. There were places with many plants, like a greenhouse perhaps. I was watching as a dark green lizard, like an iguana, climbed over some plants. It seemed rather large, and I kept watching it carefully. This lizard walked and climbed on all four of its legs. It seemed to be wearing clothing. From its neck on down there was a close-fitting, brownish jumpsuit. It occurred to me that a large wild lizard could not pull on or remove such clothing by itself, so how would it pass excrement? It was feeding on things in the plants, and I watched as it grabbed a chunk of plant material in it's large mouth. I saw a small lizard caught up in the leaves. The big lizard did not chew, it simply swallowed what it grabbed whole, as a reptile does. Then it started moving closer to where I was. I wanted to take a photo of it since I hadn't seen anything like it before, but I didn't know where my camera was. As it got much closer, it seemed to be standing on its hind legs, like a humanoid. It no longer wore the clothing. The lizard was now more green and huge, and it seemed to notice me laying in bed. The walls had no ceiling, and it climbed over them. But at the door, it went over the wall and seemed to play with opening and closing the door for a moment. Then it came down outside the room and back into it through the door. It sat down on the bed beside me. Its head was large, and while it didn't threaten me that I could tell anyway, I couldn't move from fear. I thought maybe it could bite my head off with its powerful jaws. In a moment of desperation, I decided to frighten it away. In an instant I threw my arms out to either side as if to make myself appear larger and more threatening. The suddenness of the motion and emotion woke me up."

If only it had been a lucid dream. I wonder what might have happened if I hadn't panicked.

That is wonderful, I really think that the Lizard you described had a profound Connection with you. Perhaps, the Lizard wanted you to become it's partner. In other words, the Lizard wanted you to Connect with It. Somehow, someway, but quite interesting!

I thought of that. Could it possibly be a land spirit? I know I've been working on the garden in the back yard this past month. There are certainly a lot of small lizards around, not to mention other wildlife one might find in the Deep South.

When I was very young I read this book about a boy with a tame magpie and I have always loved that bird. Pica like the Picatrix.
But it isn't something I used in any way in Magick.
My cat though, i found her as a kitten in my backyard and she's been with me for 18 years now. I often see her in my dreams and I'm sure she acts as one of my psychopomps.

Being myself with a power animal of a cat gives me the abilities to talk to a cat via eye contact and grimaces. So it's easy to understand what the cat means.

Me, I truly Love Cats and the whole Feline family. I interacted with Cats in my dreams and one time when I Astral Traveled they were amazing. They are so adorable!

So, I was meditating in my backyard full of Trees, leaves, and Flowers, and the Grass looked amazing. I sat on a Dandelions Meadow. A moment later a little black Bird appeared in front of me. It was just looking at me. Then, Bird got on top of my left shoulder, and later It got on my right forearm. I patted It with my left cheek. It was adorable, and then It said that It Love me in a Female voice Telepathically. Even though, Its Energy was Male. Then, Bird flew away. Not long after Bird left, Crow landed in top of my head. A while later Crow left and that was it. Now, I felt those Two Birds, and they were adorable. Love them.
