I’ve mentioned this a few tIke’s in posts but never wrote a thread on it.
If you suffer from ptsd or even just have a nagging memory as an over thinker there is a really unique way to move past it.
sit down in a quiet area, relive the experience with your eyes closed, if it’s ptsd related this can be rough but the pay off is worth it.
the smell your surrounding be in the moment, as the part that’s traumatic comes of up with your eyes closed keep reliving the experience but swiftly move your eyes left to right as you move on past the trauma, seriosus cases this may take 19 times, for minor things as litt as one.
i cannot overestimate how much this has helped me and I hope it helps others as well. The power of lateral eye movements… who’d a thunk it? whoever it was, they are a genius.
