If there is a triple goddess involved with wicca then would that same goddess also be Hekate? Because she appeared to me many times with three heads. Could she be the "triple goddess" wiccans talk about?

As I seem to get deeper and deeper into contemplation about the things that cross my mind, I find myself thinking about thought itself occasionally. As I ponder the concept of deep thinking it makes me wonder. Is deep thinking and meditating on things that perplex you a benefit when it comes to seeking enlightenment? Will it eventually bring me to enlightenment itself? Is enlightenment possible to gain just through deep thinking? Is Occultism instead of being a way to find enlightenment, a method to lean into it?

If you spend a lot of time digging into a subject, any answers you get will normally pop up when you are not thinking about it. Wolfgang Pauli, the Nobel physicist, who co-wrote 'Synchronicity' with Jung, said "The most important places (for a creative) are the three 'B's - Bath, Bus, and Bed"

These are the sort of places where your mind is in neutral and all that previous thinking will allow you to spit out an answer.

Quantum gravity researcher Carlo Rovelli said that he always volunteered to do the washing up in his student house because it gave him time to think in this way.

I'll be soon called an empty-mind meditation Zen nazi around here but from my own experience, thinking in grand philosophical terms about oneself, the universe and everything leads nowhere. Mind you, this comes from somebody for whom musing and pondering was his favorite (narcissistic?) pastime until roughly half a year ago when I finally decided to practice not-thinking (as recommended by Peter J. Carroll as a part of one's magical training). Mere cogitation leads absolutely nowhere if your ultimate goal is enlightenment. Spiritual insights that can be put in words without doing them gross injustice hold no transformative power whatsoever, they're just obstructions. I've totally given up on Descarte's "I think, therefore I am", now it's rather "Whenever I think about myself, I'm deluding myself".

For me, it isn't about the promise of benefits like relaxation, improved concentration or better sleep; I'm still waiting for those, or rather I don't because the abandonment of my ruminating vice has been such a revolution for me, a precious unexpected gift. I have to admit that I still indulge in it now and then by journalling but whenever I read what I wrote last time, it all seems like useless crap (just as those lines will be in a week's time or earlier). Thinking is ok when it's about your daily schedule or your grocery shopping list but mystical insights? Forget it. Just my two cents' worth, of course.

Lately, as I continue my journey into Theistic Satanism, I have noticed a few things that have to do with consistency of deities reaching out and belief. As I said in my essay on Chaos Magick that you all can likely find on my profile in my past threads, things manifest based on your beliefs and I have proven this theory now to myself. Recently, I had my faith in Lucifer falter all of a sudden and I was looking at him as nothing more than a tool instead of a sentient deity. So he began to stop contacting me and manifesting to me as much. But then even more recently, I began to finally treat him and believe in him as a sentient deity more and I was more consistent in giving offerings and such things. And now he has begun to reach out a lot more and even appeared to me again.
