Seriously....what do you a**holes who report books to Mega hope to achieve? They are most certainly donated to Annas-Archive(.org) as well as posted here. And if, by some gross oversight, they are not ...I can assure you...they WILL be commonly available within 24 hours.

Thus, you achieve absolutely nothing besides revealing yourself as an a**hole. So fuc*ing STOP IT.

I don't think its snitch issue, unless you happen to know users in the forum who are going out of their way to report said content to Mega, which is possible (I could see a few disgruntled authors making accounts for just this purpose, sure). However, Mega and other file sharing websites have all sorts of means and methods of detecting copyrighted and pirated material without any human input. Its all Algorithms and artificial intelligence recognizing patterns and metadata, and analyzing who's downloading what. It can be as simple as detecting a file name that includes a copyrighted book title and author, and seeing that its being shared and downloaded, and boom there's your red flag.
But yeah, people suck too. There's always people trying to burn libraries down. Good news is, now you can back them up digitally.
