So need some food fot my thoughts.I was a Vajrarayana practitioner for over a dozen years following the traditions of Kague first and then Nyignma.Have completed the preliminaries and the completion stage of the Yidam.Heavilly involved in practice, solitary retreats, meditational session for days etc .Left for reason as: narcissistic behavior of the teacher(s), gatekeeping of information and practice material, denial to access to further progress and a lot of other things irrelevant to this post.More red flags that i ignored : hair from my head was taken as a form of initiatory ritual, oaths over oaths were required for anything, the "higher ups" couldn't be approached for no reason ,unless it was for required monetary "donations" and more .One of the main motifs of the practice was "the benefit of all sentient deings".By all we mean all ,deamons, hungry ghost and the gamut to the Buddhas and beyond.Never a protective circle was casted. In the preliminaries one of the practices that we had to accumulate a number of repetitions was Chöd .In this practice(preferably done night in cemetaries, which i did ) you eject your consciousness out of your body and in a ritualistic way you butcher your body and offer to all beings to feast upon.At the dailly protectors practice (which are bound entities to protect the teachings) we cursed and wish death among other brutal things( to drοwn in the own blood e.g.) to all the enemies and the opposing forces to the teatchings .Contitioned by all that i though this is normal. Looking it outside the washing of the brain,it is kinda F up.I broke the oaths and i play spirutual ping pong with the monasteries.I think i have clean a lot of things with a lot of help.I learned a lot off things that follows me still such, working with spirits of the land, working with cemetary entities ,dream yoga, working with moon cycles and planet movements .I also borrow things that work for me here and there from a lot of different aspects of the occult.I have not commited to a path or a way.I do feel that something missing .I do not know if was RHP or LHP and how to procced.Does a middle path exists? Please share with me your opinions and<if you wiil> what should i do next.Thank you in advance and sorry for the rant :)

Well, a middle path exist and it is called Grey Magick (as simple as that). But honestly, it is better to stick to a path to which you resonate the most, either RHP, or LHP. And remember to generally avoid syncretism between the two (RHP ≠ LHP).

As for what you have practiced you were mostly RHP (Buddhism), but for the other things like Chöd, in my opinion it seems more LHP like (necromantic magic due to consciousness being projected and in a place such as a cemetery)

You don't need to feel sorry as I don't see it as a rant, rather as an experience shared here.

Now I don't know what that initiators did to you exactly, but honestly, initiating the offering of hair to all the deamons and hungry ghosts well, that seems kinda strange to me. Hope I helped you

They are all the same in a way. Magick is the start and end.
the only difference is the philosophy or the worldview. it's a banal way to make it easier for for the normies to go
"oh she is a good witch" vs "he is a bad witch"
black and white, it doesn't mean that one side can do something the other side can't.
the only reason i keep up with the left/right is for easier communication because we just love to classify things.

as for your personal practice while yes, you fell in with some money grubbing typical tards
they did teach you "well" at least a few things that i recognize. Your own view of them might need some work.

Norwicki wrote about this. It sounds bad but it's actually very good for initiates, and it ties in to what you said before-
the wellbeing for all, including the demons ghouls and whatever, as you took and ate from the land you let the land/world eat in return
but as the baddies tear away sinful flesh and other things of the world beneath it remains your shining golden aura, it's basically a way
to enter the umbra, and a good method for it too. The masters know that the ugly creatures the student sees are only in their imagination,
not "real" evil spirits that is why they insist on scary locations.

in conclusion, maybe your original group sucks thats fine, but carefully review what you have learned before you throw it all away
you can continue practicing what you started with a fresh set of eyes with no problems i think.
although just as you mentioned very valid things so too did you mention suspicious ones too- use your own discretion to decide
and that, is actually the core of left hand/right hand.
decide how you see things and then simply follow that philosophy.

You have started on the path of Tibetan magick, or similar buddhist teachings.
I suggest you read books by Dolores Ashcroft-Norwicki.

Much obliged! I still practice what i started(whith some rearrangments),the practice of mine was never the problem and if i made it look that way ,i must apologise. The point was that i do not know where my pracice falls in terms of western magick and how i move forward.I had to put some parts in to give you an idea as where i came from.
I love Chod.imagine that at the period of the practice i manage to find a job to a cemetary so i can have easiest access (in my country at cities the cemetaries are guarded and with barbed wired fences)most exhausted job physically but was extra rewarding elsewhere( my kapala and kangling are kindly donated by that place). The issue is the philosophy. The "protectors" i work with are demonic in nature and appearance but the most nurturing energy when you get "accepted".my world view comes closer to '' reunite with the source of all'' but i dont believe in god.I will follow your suggestion and read books Of Dolores Ascroft-Norwicki.Thank you again !
