I have been considering that a person does not need to know evocation to be an adept. In fact, imo it would be safer if the Genurah grade was to be the first evocation grade. But my opinion not withstanding, here are a few possibilities:
A non hostile Goetic spirit, preferably teaching or divination spirit, without a need for a pact.
Elemental Kings and Queens, starting with Ghob, King of the Gnomes and Elementals of Earth.
Shemhamphoresh angels, preferably protection, healing and teaching.
Lesser non hostile deities, from any civilization under the sun.
Atlantean spirits, enochian spirits of names > 3 letters.
A non hostile Goetic spirit, preferably teaching or divination spirit, without a need for a pact.
