Safety of clay blocks as opposed to putty for candle fire safety?

Word to the wise, both putty and used bubble gum are flammable/combustable. I know this from prior hands on experience, nearly shorting out my homes electricity with an experiment that worked in the process.

However, I have a kids clay bucket with molds and things, and am planning to use them as candle holders for birthday or chime candles, as well as a hole for a stick of incense.

So, is clay a suitable alternative out of the three, if wood or glass holders are currently unavailable? Plastic tees for birthday candles are all of a sudden scarce, like they are demanding they be used (birthday candles) on frosted baked goods. The nerve of them, my Kroger store is a step away from a Hoodoo field trip.

Why not just purchase a candlestick? You can get them at most furniture stores.

Simple answer - Feral sorcery.

Feral sorcery is an arts and crafts approach to magic supplies. Making your own candles, incense or oils also qualifies.

I have tealights galore. The reason I make such a big deal with candles is that I have as well birthday and chime candles. They're the difficult ones. There also are not a lot of holders, though they do exist, for that small a candle circumference.

With spells and novenas/affirmation rituals, I prefer to use birthday candles as they typically are out within fifteen minutes.
This shorter time seems to me to subconsciously tell myself to act quicker, dance more, do more middle pillar cirucaltaion, and let it all go by banishing. Or at least how I used to do things.

I mean, clay is probably pretty far from flammable. It's essentially wet dirt. What you may also be able to do, is use said clay to sculpt a holder yourself. Maybe just get a decent slab of it, use the candles to poke a good groove in there and let it dry? Or you can then fire it, too, if you have the means.
