Sev here, otherwise known as the vampiric nutjob with a passion for red magic and direct energy workings.

So, like I stated in my group suggestion, very few people here seem to know about offensive magic. I mean more than just hexing and defensive magics, but a range of sorcery that goes from waging war against spirit armies to development of a multi-faceted astral self capable of surviving if a part is destroyed. But that won't be examined here.

Of course, there are certain belief systems that hold the aggressor in low regard, and if you believe something as true, your mind creates a thoughtform to bring it about.

So, when learning how to bring a human being to its knees with magic, here are some key points you need to be aware of, if not follow:

1. Karma does not affect you. If you believe in "action and reaction", especially in terms of the negatives, you are setting yourself up to die some horrible death. As the aggressor, you must know that you are exempt from being hit back by some cosmic thoughtform. It's a ludicrous idea.

2. There's no place for ethics or morality here. I'm not going to try to warn you away from this stuff, or try making you an upstanding honorable warrior, but regret and guilt are directly linked to karma in that bad things will probably happen to you. Hold no attachment to these ideas of modern society.

3. YOU ARE GOD. If you think any gods will hold you accountable for going against their "code of conduct" you are submitting to a force higher than yourself. Well, guess what- as a sorcerer you are your god and you are above the cattle of the human race. Again I'll use the analogy of wolves- we are the ones that determine whether or not the prey gets to live. And if we deem that as a "no", we can take their lives.

So, now a few words about offensive sorcery:

It's a very...interesting type of magic. The intent can be found in all traditions, performed in different ways. But the beauty of this "red magic" as I've come to calling it is that the tradition doesn't matter. The argument can be made that the tradition doesn't matter for any spell, but red magic is unique in that systems can be combined and separated to each empower a separate aspect of the spell.

In other words, it's the parts to assemble a gun. What I aim to teach in this little lesson is how to turn the parts into a weapon.

Let's take an example. Say I wanted to kill another mage, tried hexing them but it didn't work for whatever reason. Let's say they have a guardian and the spirit notified them to the attack and dismantled it.

Let's also say this target is hyper sexual, and is polygamous (in the partner sense, not marital sense).

This becomes much, MUCH easier now. By constructing a "spell code", we can mask what our spells truly are and have them work on the life of the other mage. Let's set up some sort of gathering with magic- party, orgy, what have you- (you can even host it) that would involve people close to the victim. We can also throw in a few "assurance" spells, based on how well we know the enemy and their interests, then guide those interests to attendance at the gathering. If obstacles appear in the enemy's way of attending, dismantle them.

Now here's where the real deal of red magic kicks in. Ensure a few things: The sorcerer gets drunk, is feeling sexual, and there is a person they find attractive at the gathering with AIDS/HIV.

You can see where this is going, can't you?

It's true that this is a lot of set up, but there are ways around it that have to deal with development of a more powerful astral form, but we'll save that for another day.

Here, I'll give everyone two rituals they can perform for various reasons.

Fireball

Purpose:
To collapse an enemy in a blaze- whether it be financial, legal, etc.

Materials:
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

(Note: I have no relation to the people in the video)
A representation of the target, it can be whatever reminds you of the victim, does not have to be DNA.
A fire extinguisher.

How to cast:

Create the effigy.
Set up a quiet area with the fireball materials and effigy.
Gather the reasoning of why you want to do this and imbue yourself with fire energy.
Create the fireball.
Play catch with yourself as you focus the fire energy within you, have the intent repeat itself faster and faster within your mind and when you feel like the time is right fling the fireball at the effigy (hopefully constructed of flammable materials).
As the flames consume the effigy, call out: "Name: I sentence you to burn."
As the flames grow, put all of your desire into the fire and see the ending of your spell play out in the fire.
Extinguish the flames, and see this as the movement of this fireball from the physical to astral.

Golem's Embrace

Purpose:
Create misery and suffering within the victim, and empower it so that it is extremely difficult to remove.

Materials:
Skill in energy manipulation and AP.

How to cast:

Find a place you won't be interrupted.
Gather toxic energies around you, or even death essence.
Visit the area of the target astrally.
Within your astral body, form four circular stones the size of your fist. Each a different color: Black, red, gray, and brown.
Place them on the corners of the property.
As you set each stone, recite:
"Golem! Beast of stone! I call upon you to imbue your abilities within this stone, to bring misery and pain."
When all four stones are placed, visualize walls between them rising infinitely into the sky, with a ceiling as well.
Know that this will trap all sorrow within and keep assistance out.
Affirm to yourself that positive or helpful energies will be repelled, and all sources seeking to do harm/toxic energies are directed towards the Embrace.
See the walls solidify until the property is no longer visible.
Place your hand on the wall and say:
"And now it is done, those within will be trapped."
Coat the Embrace with the toxic energies you took in earlier.

Ciao.

@Yazata,

We had a thread regarding "Red" magic some months back. At that time there was some consensus that it pretty much adhered to:
RITUALS AND SPELL OBJECTIVES AND DESIGN IN EIGHT MAGICS by Pete Carroll, as do many Color and Planetary operations since.
I believe it was @HoldAll that noticed and mentioned Carroll's classification on Color. My thought at that time was the general classification into Color type magic operations often follows Carroll's initial breakdown, sometimes used without realizing where it comes from.

The thread that I recall may be this one?

Great post though, I wasn't aware of this earlier member, great info and sense of humor!

You're right, it's in Carroll's "Liber Kaos" - he avoids planetary associations but Red Magick would be Martian combat magick (= open all-out warfare) and Black Magick Saturnian death magick (killing by stealth).

I think I remember reading Isaac Bonewitz long ago (and Crowley too?) speaking of colored schools of Magick. They might mean something else depending on the writer (I think Crowley spoke about white, black, red and yellow?) but I agree with @HoldAll and red very very likely is Martial in all cases.
