Book Discussion SHADOWNOMICON - DH THORNE

Hello! I have read the Shadownomicon book by DH Thorne, but I haven't practiced rituals from it. People who want to discuss this book, especially if they have done rituals and used this book?

I read what it is about. That honestly sounds like a tough road to magic if he had to resort to skepticism to fend off madness. I've watched some of his videos on Odysee, Rumble and maybe YouTube (before my ad blocker stopped working reliably there). I don't think his way is suitable for me. What was your biggest take away from his book?

I read that book about 2 years ago. I remember the stories the author mentioned when he was young, the rituals and the Lovecraftian thing with the obsidian stone. I think the biggest takes from his book was about the Jungian shadow aspect and the fact that you should be familiar with your own shadow before working with those entities.
