Not that I've never heard music from other parts of the world before, but more like I just discovered that it was an actual genre:
World music is an English phrase for styles of music from non-Western countries, including quasi-traditional, intercultural, and traditional music.

More specifically, I stumbled upon a sub-genre called "World Downtempo" and holy fuck it's super chill, I honestly feel like I would vibe hard with it if I was on some weed.
