Why am I calling Satan the Arch Angel of Evil? Beelzebub is another older name for Him. Yes I'm a Satanist but I do not worship. What is Satan as the archetype of Evil? How about your Shadow Self and Shadow Work. The Jungian Shadow concept is everything you have not accepted in yourself. It is literally the psychic sewer for yourself. Satan is all this in everyone that are alive. We can always work on this Shadow part which in turn is Satan itself. Or a mere Reflection of Satan. To have control over the Shadow self is to have Power. Power comes with moulding this part of yourself to something which is usable for yourself. It contains all fears, all of the negative emotions, all that you are not conscious of which you have poured over to Satan. Usually this is what leads to the down fall of Men when they do not acknowledge the Arch Angel of Evil. Perhaps a great scapegoat for your troubles or what went wrong in your life, but certainly a living alchemistical gem if approached correctly.

Is power the most important aspect for you? If so why? I would argue Jung’s goal with shadow work is balance, not personal power.

Well if you break down what power really means. You gain empowerment over the self and from that comes also balance and equilibrium. You can think of the shadow work done in GD paradigm with elemental equilibrium and it's a personal empowerment from the fact that you have reached balance in all the elements. Power equals balance, balance gives this power.

We could argue about disharmony and harmony. Disharmony leads to abonominations and loss of personal power, when harmony is something that goes with the flow and you gain most power from it.
