Going forward, WF members are not allowed to ask other members to do rituals/spells/any other type of occult work from other members. This is a strict rule, not an etiquette, and you will be warned for every offence. Also note, that we are aware that plenty of members will try to evade this rule by giving sob stories and "waahhhh waahhhh I just don't know what to do, I wish someone could help me" type nonsense. This will be treated as spell begging as well, and warned accordingly.

WF is a place for you to learn about the occult, increase your knowledge, improve your skills. WF exists to facilitate information transfer regarding occult topics, NOT a craigslist style bulletin board for you to come post about your problem, have it solved by someone else, and then leave. We do allow this in the marketplace as a courtesy and (as a small part of the vision to help elevate occultists in general) to allow people to generate an income from their craft, but there are strict rules regarding the marketplace - people are allowed to buy a Vendor license and advertise the products and services that they are confident in. We will never allow people to come and just ask for things to be done for them - for free or for money.

Let me also clarify that spell begging in this context is specifically asking people to do something for you. Asking for a recommendation on what spell/ritual to do etc is not considered spell begging here, but be sure to search the forum and try some of the already posted tutorials/guides before asking for recommendations unless you have a special requirement that is not catered to by the plethora of threads already posted on WF. This is not a rule, but repeated low-effort posts that could have easily been solved by a simple search will lead to warnings (verbal and then official).

Feel free to discuss.

This I think is good. Should lessen the likelihood of someone using the site to scam people asking for help. There was one thread I saw on here a week or so ago where someone was asking for someone to find a healer and I couldn't help but think about how easy it would be for someone to scam the OP of the thread. It's super easy to scam someone with things involving healing because most illnesses and injuries are invisible to the naked eye. By the time the victim realizes they haven't been healed it's too late and the scammer is gone. Not saying anyone scammed that person just that that was a worry of mine reading the thread. I know people like to think scams are obvious but people can get desperate and not only that it takes a lot of mental work to be constantly on guard for scams.

I generally consider those who seek such services, unrelated to this forum, to be small-minded mediocrity.

I think it's bad. People need help sometimes . It's elitist like studio A
People need help sure if so they can ask for advice on doing their own spell or on how to help themselves. Theres also plenty of books on this site the person can read. Asking someone else to do it the chances of being scammed are much higher then the chances of the person actually helping in many cases. I do believe in the occult that's why I'm here but let's be honest scammers exist and I'd rather people get help by searching the site or reading the books on here or asking for advice on how to do the work then get scammed.

If I understand the new policy it applies to people who show up and say things like "Can somebody do magic to put a thousand dollars in my Paypal account" or "Someone do some magic to make my sexual fantasies come true." Those things are obviously trollish.

Well it's my opinion . I won't be here again with this policy in place .

Maybe off topic but I’ve been reading doing research and I’ve came to understand the science behind how everything is connected n how every atom, being and the very fabric of the universe is and is being created by “God” but I feel lost when it comes to working magic, is it possible I’m not ready or am I going about it completely overestimating the potential of spell casting?

You’re right. It’s off topic. Make a thread in the relevant section.

In all my years as a Wizard I have always found that Magick preformed for the self is always more powerful than that which is preformed by others on your behalf. In this spirit It is my opinion that it is better to guide the beginner then to carry them. If they have enough intent they can make the proper spell work for them. All they need is help and instruction, it is not good to carry them as they lose the lesson they were supposed to learn.

I hear you SkullTraill. I personally don't do that type of stuff. I rather figure out the solution on my own.

I agree that self-magic is more effective. From the point of view of my research, when you do a spell for someone else, you need to spend a lot of time making sure they are in the same mindset as you, because the spell is not going to work for the client unless you both end up in the same successful outcome.
