I'm surprised nobody has written a review for this yet in this Chinese year of the Snake even.. so please allow me.
When stalkinghyena very casually mentioned he had just finished the last painting of his cards, and that he'd been working on this project for 19 years (!) I immediately wanted it and bought it as soon as it was up. The artwork is very detailed and the eclectic occult imagery of every single card is arranged in such a way that it's truly a gate into its own meditation, inviting you to step into the scene. And these cards are BIG. I have used them as “altar piece” setting up three next to each other to represent three-lettered words (when possible).
Some cool features:
The art on the courtcards includes the respective part of the Great Table of the Enochian system (so the King, Queen, Prince and Princess of one suit form one of the 4 parts of the Table and could be used together to represent it on your altar)
The cards include the Seals of the Shem Angels that rule over that particular part of the zodiac (that the card is linked with) So those cards could be included in a ritual with the particular Angels
The Trumps do not have the Hebrew letters on them. This was particularly useful for myself in (re)assigning them to the Enochian alphabet.
It has snakes, it has boobs, it's got you all covered.
Whatever your type of Magick is, this is The Deck.
