Hi i’m swagulon, been really into the occult for the past 2 years starting from a psychedelic trip watching the midnight gospel episode with Damian Echols. I read his book High Magick. then I started reading Liber Aba by Crowley.
I think there’s a lot to be learned from Crowley but he took his practices to an absolute extreme and put out a lot of wicked energy. Just finished Liber Null and Psychnaut By Peter Carroll. I really love Chaos magick and find it’s what practice suits me best. In terms of magical theory. I have started Liber Kaos but didn’t enjoy it as much, I am not too concerned by completing “my great work” and all that stuff with Abromlin the mage.
I also am studying the poison path thanks to Dale Pendell! I love learning about the shamanistic history of psychoactive Botanicals and what their roles and effects would be in the perspective of potion making to exhibit a desired outcome!
I have come to the wizard forum for 3 reasons, some form of mystical community away from parasitic social media like instagram. The second reason is for reading recommendations.
And lastly to ease my mind, Chaos magick I love and I don’t believe in monotheism but still think tales from the bible are mystically very important. However, as monotheism has demonised occult practices I want to make sure that i’m not submitting my soul to persecution by engaging in it.
I don’t perform any practices or rituals that I feel are unethical, and I try not to put out negative energy’s as I feel they would return to me.
Anyways that’s me.
