Im farly new to Tarot and I follow Quareia studies, just a begginer there, so I got me my Raider Waite deck, I also got the free Tarot book from Quareia and I got "Magick of the Tarot" by Aurum Solis Grand Masters, I am also starting Pathworking so I needed the Tarot, what would you recommend me as a total begginer?
Thank you.

This may seem counterintuitive, but one of the best things you can do to get good at tarot is to work on strengthening your intuition and your ability to understand what it's telling you. A lot of it is the initial 'gut feeling' you get the instant you look at the cards, and being able to interpret those feelings and reconcile them with each of the cards.

Remember, good cartomancers read the cards, great cartomancers scry into the cards.

A great book id recommend is Holistic Tarot by Benebel Wen, also Mary K Greers books. I also liked Tarot deciphered by T.Susan Chang a lot.

No problem at all. It's a great book as she involves you in the process. You can also check out her YouTube & website as she does additional content that can be used with or without the book (better with imo) your first reply had some great advice as well, I remember having my cards with me, next to me, slept with them for a long time. I would study and look for every symbol. Directions the fool was facing, I also would put cards next to each other and swap so you can then sense the different energy. That type of stuff doesn't come from anywhere else but you and can be done along side the books.

Bit more advanced, but I loved it to help me get deeper into the Tarot was Robert Wangs book Qabalistic Tarot. He also talks about Skyring the Tarot.

I should have added here, that Wens book deals exclusively with the RWS deck.
It's not a bad place to start at all, it's where most tarot readers start. The GD approach is replicated in most decks today.
Once you've understood & memorised the root meanings of the cards, your intuition takes over.
A.E. Waite appears to have employed a deliberate strategy of esoteric concealment within the RWS deck, utilising what might be termed obfuscation through transparency.

So for this reason, I also learnt the Thoth.
I did this along side my learning of the RWS, because I am a typical Scorpio and I have to investigate & learn everything.

This might be too much for some people for me, it opened up the energy within the cards to a whole new other level.

Thank you, it was Quareia course which made me get the RWS Tarot deck, and yes is like the basic for begginers, I am already having my fun with it, also Josephine Mc Carthys book explains about A.E. Waite and the development of the Tarot, is facinating to read this.

Those that taught me (for what that is worth) were pretty insistent that I draw and color my own deck. It really does conduce to more meaningful results. But, then, their deck is nonstandard, too.

Very interesting, thank you
I'd suggest 78 Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack, which you can find HERE.
Thank you I saw you post this in another thread and already got it from here

Thank you.

I would start with the superb 'Liber E vel Exercitorum' - specifically the 'Physical Clairvoyance' section where it suggests the following exercise:

II
Physical clairvoyance
1. Take a pack of (78) Tarot playing cards. Shuffle; cut. Draw one card.
Without looking at it, try to name it.
Write down the card you name, and the actual card. Repeat, and tabulate results.
2. This experiment is probably easier with an old genuine pack of Tarot cards, preferably a pack used for divination by some one who really
understood the matter.
3. Remember that one should expect to name the right card once in 78 times.
Also be careful to exclude all possibilities of obtaining the knowledge through the ordinary senses of sight and touch, or even smell.
4. It is better to try first the easier form of the experiment, by guessing only the suit.
5. Remember that in 78 experiments you should obtain 22 trumps and 14 of each other suit; so that without any clairvoyance at all, you can guess
right twice in 7 times (roughly) by calling trumps each time.
6. Note that some cards are harmonious.
Thus it would not be a bad error to call the five of Swords ("The Lord of Defeat") instead of the ten of Swords ("The Lord of Ruin").
But to call the Lord of Love (2 Cups) for the Lord of Strife (5 Wands) would show that you were getting nothing right.
Similarly a card ruled by Mars would be harmonious with a 5, a card of Gemini with "The Lovers".
8. As you progress you will find that you are able to distinguish the suit correctly three times in four and that very few indeed inharmonious errors occur, while in 78 experiments you are able to name the card aright as many as 15 or 20 times.

I have edited some parts out of this that are not really that useful on their own, but the whole book is well worth reading & the excercises work.

Can I ask why you chose those particular 3 decks?
I would honestly suggest that it's probably better to learn one deck thoroughly than mess about with 3 different ones, but that's just me.

Sorry - my mistake, as I misread the part just quoted. I thought, rather stupidly, that this was 3 decks rather than one deck & 2 books.
This makes my question irrelevant in the main, because although Aurum Solis also have their own deck (which is what threw me off) a closer reading states quite clearly that it's their book you are referring to. My apologies.
That said, does the book of theirs you have fit the RW deck, or their own one? I ask because for my deck (Thoth) it would be futile to use any other book to accompany these other than The Book Of Thoth.
You may be better off using the
