Telephones, Solomonic magick, and psychic mediumship

I had this idea to formulate an evocation ritual similar to how victorian seance trumpet were used back in the day but with a copper and crystal telephone instead. The operator is a solomon circle holding the telephone receiver itself, the copper telephone base is in the triangle. I would probably place obsidian, gold, and amethyst along the outside to enhance communication quality. In theory do we think this would work out ? Do we have any constructive criticism, or thoughts?
